Just a dumb box score observation...

Horford had 5 blocks and 0 fouls while Porzingis had 0 blocks and 5 fouls.

Only the 2nd time since 1983 that a Celtics player had 5+ blks without fouling in a playoff game. Tatum the first Celtics player with 37+ pts, 14+ rebs, and 3+ stls in a playoff game during that span. C's now 13-1, incl. playoffs, when Tatum makes 14+ FTs.

Hauser played hard and had an excellent game tonight. I was happy about that. Great team win!

Magic has held the Celtics to sub-10 made threes in B2B games. That's never happened in Mazzulla era. They also limited our 3-pt attempt rate to below 40% in B2B games (below 50% in all four games). We've had ONLY TWO games total this season with sub-40% 3-pt attempt rate (vs. DEN, vs. ORL).

I asked before the series what would happen if ORL took away our threes. We're one win away from advancing.

Scheierman has yet to play but has already contributed hugely to this playoff run. He's responsible for coming up with the hold-my-wrist celebration by JT.

The game was won when KP made that And 1 to put the Cs ahead 94-91.

Magic never recovered after that.

JT never hesitated to throw that lob to KP and good job by KP to get the rebound after missing the initial shot.

JT also 14-14 from the FT line in a tight Game 4.

That's clutch.

So far, my initial prediction on how the series will go is coming true. Celtics in 5 but one of the wins will be a close one (G4). Finish at home, let's go!

Rant: I've been here a long time but the game threads mostly suck. The Corey's and everyone else whining about the coaching suck. Complaining about the refs constantly also sucks. I know complaining about how much several of you suck ALSO sucks, so warn me but please don't ban me, I'll just stay out of game threads as I have almost all year. But to say it clearly: people who just complain about coaching and reffing all the time are losers, probably in lots of aspects of their lives, and I know places like this on the internet are a safe space for you, so cool, I guess, but also maybe grow up a bit and/or try to be a more engaging and/or interesting and/or pleasant-to-be-around human.

You're rooting for a team with a legit chance to win a second straight championship. ENJOY IT while it lasts!

Game threads have been terrible in my experience for both Celtics and Patriots forums. Probably every sports team forum if I had to guess. People get prisoner of the moment and react to every little thing. I just try to avoid them, I'll post stuff from time to time, but if the team's not playing well I'm not reading no game thread.

Nice win.

VC to Tatum and White. Tatum was great. 37 points, 14 rebounds, 14-14 from the line and some key baskets. White with a good all around game with 18,7 and 7 and a few big 2nd half 3s.

Al played well, especially on the defensive end.

Brown was good too. Needs to take care of the ball much better. 9-10 from the line.

KP finally made his first 3 of the series. Then made another. Good game plan to get him rolling in the basket. Big first half.

Pritchard was shut out offensively, but played good defense on Wagner on several possessions and pressured the game well.

Kornet continues to be a none factor. 16 minutes, 0 points and 1 rebound. Joe put in Queta already!

Hauser finally basket in the series. Than made another. Still want to see Craig get 10 minutes.

Props to coach and the coaching staff. However, if Joe plays Queta and Craig 10-12 minutes and sits Kornet and Hauser, we would have a little easier time with the Magic.

We need to get Everyone as healthy as possible, and go somewhat Stronger in the next Series.

This series could easily be 4-0 right now or 2-2. games 3 and 4 were really close. This game was 91-91 with 4 minutes to go.
I will take the 3-1 lead. Joe needs to do a little better with his adjustments. He has made none. Kornet and Hauser should sit for a game or 2 in favor of Queta and Craig.

60 minutes from our bench (Pritchard, Hauser, Kornet), only 6 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists combined.
Joe you are getting paid to coach this team, not stand around and walk back and forth. Make some adjustments to the bench already.
Happy for the win. But this series could easily be 2-2.

Our bench can use an enforcer or even one physical player.

Our bench can use an enforcer or even one physical player.

Let's not forget that Al is part of the bench but became a starter because JH is out.

Even though PP didn't score, Banchero and Wagner was bothered by PP's ball pressure.

The priority was how to get KP going.

Joe made that happen by running plays for KP to get lobs.

This Orlando team is making a concerted effort to take away the 3pt shot from the Cs.

So the paint will be open and our bench players, like Sam and PP, are shooters, guys who don't score in the paint.

Part of it is they know KP won't pass the ball.

That's why they're giving KP space.

You said cutting.

KP kicks it out, but he rarely passes to cutters.

We seldom use cutters
KP had one great pass to cutting White for and1
We should run of these

KP as the rolling man to the dunker was good use of struggling KP for easy baskets
I just don't know why we stopped using it

Cutting and slipping screens are also good counters against defenders hugging up on you and opposing teams switching everything.
