Heck yea he does. Problem is game 4 is only 1 day in between. And Al played 35 minutes tonight. Not to nitpick on a must win game but we were up +20 almost the entire 2nd half and won by 22. Did Al really need to log 35 mins with how much we're gonna need him on Monday?

Team smokes it today, with a puff for PP and Joe for going with the successful double big lineup! JB was strong in both ends, where my dogs at?! Tie this up on Monday and shut these pretenders up!!!

Voted Horford and Pritchard. White was terrific. Holiday did his thing. JB had his moments. JT did everything other than score efficiently. Luke was helpful in his minutes. KP happened to be there. Joe is our coach when we win and when we lose.

Every time the Knicks tried to get back in this we’d get a steal and a transition bucket. The defense has been good.

I just wish that KP was giving us more. It’s exhausting for our guys to keep the Knicks off the boards.

Great game by Pritchard, he was so mentally ready. If he stays sharp I think he can contribute every game in the playoffs.

Should've played Kornett a bit. I doubt 15 mins would've hurt us that much.
Good assessment:

Shame that they have a whole bench full of busts that can't get on the floor to help: Walsh,Queta etc. Touted for their defense when they were brought here and absolutely useless when the team needs help/depth.

I haven't wanted a win like that one in a looooooooong time. God damn that was satisfying after all the threads, social media posts, useless pre-game analysts (looking at you Stephen A).
156-1 Celtics are frauds when pressure is put on them. They would have been toast if Luka was not stupid enough to foul himself out. Enjoy this ONE finals win. There will never be another with the Js and the Celtics cant afford stacked team.
2 of them from Hack a Robinson
We could have used him some more, especially with the big lead we had

This post would've made a little sense during the regular season. In the playoffs Joe (and most coaches) only play 8-9 guys.

Besides, the two guys you mentioned are 2nd round picks who warm the end of the bench. Hopefully the owners will stop being penny-pinchers and only sign proven lottery picks instead.

Why doesn't Joe put Queta in if he's calling for a hack-a-Mitch (esp in 1st half)
putting Neemi in gets his feet wet, gives him a chance to screen, roll hard, and compete for O-rebs for a couple-few possessions on offense

then on defense, Queta is just gonna give the foul on Mitch
you get 2,3,4,5 or whatever minutes to spare Horf's legs
and you don't run up 1st half fouls on Luke giving the hack on Mitchell Rob

if you are calling for the hack, why not put Neems in????

Boston is where it is now without much/anything from KP. Hence so much hate, from many. People judging without even knowing what he is going through or dealing with. whatever, I get it. but make no mistake

WE WILL NEED KP GOING FORWARD to have a chance to win a title.

I for one wish people would wish him well instead of throwing him under Bus.

When the summer comes we can all decide whether we want him or not.

But Before these playoffs are said and done, I expect KP to come up Big. Wait for it!
There is no prize for coming so close Do something!

Nice win.

VC to Pritchard and White. Al was a close 3rd for me.

Pritchard was great. We needed a big game from him. 23 big points off the bench on 50% shooting from the field and on 3s.

White had a good game. 17 points on only 10 shots. He had 3 big offensive rebounds, two of them he scored on put backs.

Al was good. Strong bounce back game for him. 15 points and 9 rebounds and good defense. Over 50% shooting from the field and on 3s.

Brown and Tatum were solid. In a must win game, they were our 4 and 5th best players. Let that sink in.

We need more from Jrue.

Why is KP even playing. He is not effective at all. But killed on the boards. Did not make a single shot. He is shooting 25% from the field in the series in limited minutes. He hasn't made 1 basket in 2 of the 3 games.

Props to Joe for a much better coaching job.

Queta needs to play a little, we are getting killed on the boards by Kat and Robinson. We need him to match the energy Robinson brings.
OG and Bridges are elite defenders who are able to contain JT and JB, coach needs to find a way to get those guys off them. If the C's can get a couple guys each night to hit shots as the J's are passing out of double teams we will win this series. They hit them last night and we won easily. Horford, White, Holiday, and PP all shot over 50% against Knicks players not names OG and Bridges.

Knicks are not better.

Cs beat themselves in Games 1 and 2.

What does that say about the CS? At the moment, the Knick are better, leading the series 2-1. They win game 4 and the series over.
Pritchard, White and Al were our best players in a must win game. Celtic fans need to let that sink in.

Al had a really good game because he had that extra day off between games. He chances of him playing that well in not good. KP has been a disaster in the series. He shouldn't even be playing. Kornet has been decent.

This team is a good as White and Jrue will take them. And Jrue isn't playing well enough. Thank God Pritchard had a great game.

Even when I don't "think" I'm very nervous I find my whole body starts clenching up as the game is about to start. Shoulders get so tight there's no way I could properly shoot a basketball lol. No idea how these dudes come out and perform well with so much pressure and so many eyes on them. I'd be a mess.
