I don't know who our 15th man is at this point.. but I can tell you that he would contribute less to this team than KG even if he only suited up for 40 games

He would LOVE Smart, Crowder and the guys on this team.. he may be a bit of a lonely vet without Pierce n co, but it would've been the same in Minny last season

and if he's interested in ownership, management, coaching, whatever and Taylor n co have no intention of letting him do it with the wolves, we should be offering him something here

You may not be able to teach his insanity, but his knowledge and passion for the game would be an asset in any capacity

I think Kevin goes to LA.. It would be great to bring him and Pierce here, but we're a long-shot to win a championship and the Clippers are more of a legit, if fringe, contender. And they're in the same boat they've been since Doc took over, the cupboard's bare, but if they wound up in the right place at the right time for a lucky trade, a deal could fall into their lap that makes them a favorite. (Thinking along the lines of like, Rasheed Wallace to Detroit.)

Possible Garnett goes to LA and Pierce retires, too, or gets traded to us. But getting both isn't likely for us. Maybe next season, especially if we want them as PJ Brown types, a few minutes a game and veteran mentorship.

Wonder if Pierce will retire, too. A Duncan-KG-Pierce-Kobe HoF class would be great.

I know everyone says if Perk was there for game 7 we would win the series. But i think having Sheed out of shape the entire season hurt us just as bad. He was better in the playoffs... But he should have been able to give us more

The Sixers have had a trade decision involving Noel and Okafor for some time. New Sixers president Bryan Colangelo inherited an unbalanced roster with the three centers. The team publicly stated that it would try to move at least one of them during the NBA draft.

However, the Sixers would only do that for the right price. The team received trade offers for Noel during and after the draft.

Noel's name came up in trade talks with the Boston Celtics, Phoenix Suns, Atlanta Hawks, and Houston Rockets, according to sources. Another source said the Sixers were also in discussions with the Toronto Raptors and San Antonio Spurs.

This is interesting... We heard about the Hawks' interest, they do have Howard, now, but Noel as a back-up-in-training could work. This was probably Teague-related, though. The Rox interest doesn't surprise me, especially now that they have an offense-focused team. Not sure if they'd deal Capela, who's more of a 4, or someone else. The Raptors obviously lost Biyombo. San Antonio's not a surprise, but don't know who or what they'd trade. Phoenix does surprise me, because they've got Len and Chandler. If they were looking to move Len, I'd be thrilled to have Boston take him back in a three-team trade- Noel to PHO, Len to BOS, asset(s) to PHI. Could be cheaper, if Phoenix is also sending something to Philly in that deal.

FWIW, I'd also be ok with trades going down that leave us with Noel at the 5 and someone like Mclemore or Gary Harris at the 2, if we're looking to balance out the payroll.

The Lakers took Perk out. Again no payback. Worst is fans in Garden cheer a lousy laker and the team let him slip away with a win.

Celtics need an enforcer bad. These years of soft play, other teams injuring our players needs to come to an end.

There is no room on the Celtics for old guys who can't play anymore.

Wings?? We got wings -- Hunter, Young, Nader, Thornton... take your pick!

I don't mean to kick Bucks fans while they're down but, if they strike out everywhere else... how about a 2nd for Green?

Yeah, it would hurt our depth, but I think it would amuse me to extract yet another pick out of thin air. And then we don't have to waive Young (whatever that's worth).

Plus, we have some incentive to help make sure they don't decide to pull the plug. We don't want any more teams jostling with Brooklyn in tghe race to the bottom.
Green was out scoring Isaiah it seemed most nights two years ago playing fast in Phoenix. Now he is defensive stopper also. No way would I trade him right now for a second round pick that will never make the team.

He is going to want the brinks truck. Not going to get that being third strike center in Philly.

Depends on the trade price and extension price. Could take a discount deal like Crowder or Turner, 2-3 years at 9 million to prove himself and go back on the market. We'd retain his Bird rights in that case, I think.

Guy's had two years playing in the league, didn't improve last year but it's hard to blame him. He can be at Chandler/Ratliff level within 3-5 years, he has the potential to make plays on defense no one else can. Not a bulk shot blocker like Whiteside or a huge presence like Gobert, but has ups, quicks, can rotate, get in passing lanes... Best comparison on defense is a 6'11" Marcus Smart.

I would do Rozier/Young/Bentil and 2 non BK picks for Noel. I don't think Philly would.
