Back in my college days, i actually invented a kindergarten cop drinking game.

Its rules were static, but it essentially devolved into me throwing in my kindergarten cop vhs and demanding that everybody drink during whichever part i deemed awesome, which is basically the whole movie.

A simpler time. We were good kids though

So, Pacino,

The Rise of Darth Affluenza

That was some "movie", wasn't it? **** hell lol. Star Wars RIP. Ruined the entire franchise imo.

Anyone else watching Rise of Skywalker tonight? I'm pumped, despite the lackluster reviews thus far.

Saturday for me. Been sick as hell all week and honestly I’m so upset at the franchise and how poorly handled this new trilogy has been that the allure has worn off me.

So much that didn’t make sense or felt forced. Anyway, more importantly, great to see you posting man. A few of us have kept this thread hanging on for dear life in your absence. Lol

Saw RoS last night. I liked it. I have very low standards when it comes to Star Wars.

The trailer had me throwing money at the screen. It looked sick. A must-watch on the IMAX screen. Can't wait.

Ronny Chieng: Asian Comedian Destroys America (new on Netflix) was awesome. I laughed my ass off.

I saw Star Wars the other night. I understand the criticisms on the script and they are justified, but I still enjoyed it quite a bit. There was enough good in there for me to not worry too much about the bad. I liked what Johnson did with Episode 8, the story needed to have some originality and new direction to it. But it does seem they caved somewhat in Episode 9 to the overly vocal internet crowd that pissed and moaned endlessly about where Johnson took the script on Last Jedi.

It's like "The Force Awakens is just the same as A New Hope - wah wah wah". And then it's like "The Last Jedi is not a real Star Wars movie, that's not MY Luke Skywalker - wah wah wah".

Hopefully they start making some more original stories that have nothing to do with the Skywalker story line now. I saw a tweet or a comment somewhere ages ago, probably in the lead up to Episode 7, that pretty much sums it up for me. I'll paraphrase it slightly, but basically - light sabre duels and space battles are cool, trade federations, politics, midochlorians and battle droids are not. It seems pretty simple really.

I liked Episode 7,8 and 9. I liked Solo. I really, really liked Rogue One. The Mandalorian has been good too. They are enjoyable, they are well made, they look amazing, they actually built sets and models and shot on location. I am happy to be see good quality new content being made in order to ease some of the pain associated with the prequels.

I went in expect complete dog **** and while it wasn’t great or really good I was pleasantly surprised by Rise of skywalker. A lot of things felt shoe horned and didn’t really make sense but at the same time U have to remember your watching a children’s movie at the end of the day
