I wanna win the whole thing....not make it to the conference finals. Reality is we need all hands on deck. Thanks for letting me know where the series sits at tho

We definitely need him going forward. My guess is that ankle is almost healthy, but he would come back after the birth of his child. Let’s hope that happens soon before this current series is over. We need that extra playmaker, extra scorer to move forward.

More talent is always better, especially in light of risk of further injury. But I'd be comfortable against the Heat with the guys we currently have, assuming they can stay healthy.

I'd be more worried against whichever LA team lives up to enough of its potential to actually come out of the West.

Yes I totally agree. I’m talking big picture if we ever had the chance to play LA

I agree. We need every guy. Especially Hayward, who like Smart, can get hot anytime, and spell the difference.

The refs have been pretty bad in a lot of games here in the playoffs. The foul on Giannis was horrific. You don’t call that type of foul, especially if it was after the release. They probably shouldn’t have called the foul prior. Well if Giannis made both free throws in the end, then they would have won that one. Butler almost laid an egg turning the ball over with a time out remaining. I still like our chances against the heat. Butler is more of a on/off guy. Not really bringing it every game. Plus most of their playera are young and i experienced compared to ours. Plus they play adebayo at 5 to finish, which is a out the size of theis.

Celtics still have six games to get there but I want the Lakers, the chance to beat Lebron and LA and the same time is too much to pass up.

Steve Nash will coach the Nets. Did not see that one coming!

Will either be an amazing success or total failure.

(...or success in year 1 and failure after that...)

So Kyrie willing to change his game? It already takes more than 7 seconds just him dance-dribbling alone.

Nash may be a great coach u never know but I think it’s a risky hire going with someone whose never coached and throwing them into 2 guys like KD and kyrie who can seemingly turn on a coach in a second

Now that Coach Pop is no longer being pursued by the Nets, he can just apply as Brad Stevens' assistant next season.

Probably following the Steve Kerr model, but totally different considering the players he will be coaching. I like Nash, but i’d wish for a disaster chemistry for obvious reasons

And I can't root for the Clippers either, after their behavior towards Doncic, so Denver it is out West.

Do we have any update on Hayward? The initial 4 week timetable would have him back probably near the start of the ECF. But that's always felt like an optimistic time table for a grade 3 sprain. A 6 week return would be near the start of the finals, which feels possible.

I think he will be back in the bubble before the ECF, and continue resting while under quarantine. He will come back after the birth of his child though.
