The return of the Timelord in game three of the first round series against the Nets was the last piece in the puzzle that started what would become a remarkable playoff run.........

Is there a real chance Rob is available for Game 3 on Saturday?

Zoya?

While technically not impossible, I severely doubt it. I’d count game 5 as a reasonable expectation which would fall around that 4 week timeline post surgery. We will probably get an update on his recovery process between game 2 and 3.

He doesn't play until we drop a game. If we lose tonight, he will play game 3. If Celtics go up 2-0, i think he returns game 4. If Celtics are at 3-0, Timelord would probably go Game 5.

LOL.

Agreed. I seriously doubt that Rob Williams is available for Game 3.
I'd be mildly shocked if he plays anything more than Garbage-time, this Series.

Today marks 3 weeks since his meniscus surgery.

Could be available to play a week from now.

Even if he's not back to 5-on-5's yet, I'm guessing him doing contact drills means they must think he's past a point where he's at high risk of re-injury? Small gap between his last healthy game and his resuming practice also means less time for him to fall out of game shape. Fundamentally, that seems like good progress.

3-on-3 is getting closer to 5-on-5. Speak it into existence. Game 5 is not out of the question. Gotta win Game 2.

Contact is the most important piece of information there.

Hard to play 3-on-3 without any contact.

In my mind, that really is a 5-on-5, but they can't get enough ballboys to participate.

My guess, no way on game 3 with it being less than 4 weeks since he's been out and a 2-0 lead. And if we win game 3, I doubt we see him this series. If we lose game 3 though, I think game 4 or 5 (more likely) is a distinct possibility.
