Don't get me wrong, I want to play the Cavs. But I want to play them in the ECFs with a Lebron/Kyrie duel with the finals on the line. Thats hot stuff. :P

They need to have one of Lebron or Hill on the floor at all times in the playoffs, then pick a god and pray, lol.

Hill is awful on defense too.

And why are we so sure the Pacers win the 3/6 match-up anyway? Right now I think a series with them and Philly is a tossup at best. I would probably lean towards Philly honestly.

Totally agree. They'd have no answer for Embiid. I still have my doubts Oladipo can carry this team in the playoffs like he's done in the regular season; I mean, let's face it, that roster just doesn't have much talent.

Maybe I'm wrong, but they remind me a lot of the 2015-16 Celtics. Scrappy, good defense and coaching, lot of threes and heart, but little talent and knocked out in Round 1.

You think so? I always felt all year that Philly was a year away from being a serious threat and making real noise. I could be wrong though.

Still even their seed may change. The east is going to go wild for the remaining games.

C's have a solid lead in second. I am sure Al will be back. And Rozier can fill in okay for Kyrie while he rests and we can win enough IMO.

If Philly gets the Pacers, the advantages the Pacers will have are better coaching, guard play and experience. But the Sixers would have the best and arguably second-best player in the series. As prior series have shown, it'd be extremely difficult for the Pacers to overcome that.

I agree, Celtics going to be set in second. Let's hope Cleveland isn't third.

What would be fascinating is Cavs vs. Sixers in Round 1, because of the free agency implications.

Hmmmm... the Lakers demolished the Land of the Cleve.
Randle seems to be one of the few Free Agents who will receive more than the MLE.
Did Ainge goof taking Smart ahead of Randle? He appears to be perfect for Stevens system
and unlike Smart, could be a genuine starter on a contending team.
Any ways, IT appears to have his Mojo back and is playing quite well off the bench and the Lakers may take a run at being a .500
or so team. Good that Ainge sought protections and alternatives to that Pick.

That game has helped my Personal Dislike Power Rankings somewhat at this point in time as I was actually not that upset to see the Lakers win a game:

1. LeBron
2. Lakers
3. Lonzo

It was probably influenced by IT being involved though.

If all three come together next season, it will make Kobe look like one of my favourite players by comparison. And that is saying something as I loathe Kobe.

How good would that team be with Hayward right now?

Was really hoping we got Randle at the deadline. I understand we didn't go for it because it would be impossible to resign Smart AND Randle next year, but he would have been a terrific pick up. Dude is very good. Somebody is going to easily give him 16+ million..love his speed and athleticism as a 4.

Cavs are only 2.5 games up on 7th place Miami. Not likely, but it would be a pretty bizarre turn of events if we ended up facing them in the first round. And if they're bad enough to fall that far, maybe it would be a good thing -- LeBron or no LeBron.

In the playoffs, LeBron is a different kind of animal.

Child, please. 7 straight final appearances. LeBron is basically a ticket to the Finals, it almost doesn't matter how much talent your team has.
