From the trades and transactions board, some idiot suggested Hayward, Theis, Edwards for RoCo, Tucker, Eric Gordon, 2022 unprotected pick.

Sounds great. Let’s see him pay the luxury tax, hire a top level coach and pay him top money. Harden is out in under 12 months

Just because Marcus likes to shout and get angry doesn't make him the leader. You can't be serious. All stars are not leaning on Marcus freaking Smart to tell them how to play good.

I agree with this. Our leader needs to be one of our best players on the court moving forward. Meaning this should be Tatum or Brown. Smart could be that also, but he needs to improve his game some more next season. He needs to focus more on playmaking, and improve his decision making and shot selection. He somewhat lost credibility last playoffs for me as a leader. When he called out or lashed on our players after that awful game 2, then laying an egg the following games, makes you lose credibility among your peers. You can’t act all angry and emotional, then playing awful after that. With that said, Smart is one of our most valuable players, if he commits to playmaking and defense, and limit those cringe worthy turnovers, i think he could be a good starting point guard in the future.

Maybe we could get a 3rd team to take PG for a good big man and shooter. If that’s straight up, then pass. We have too much wings already.

I'm not buying this "Smart needs to improve his shot selection" line I'm hearing a lot. A few years ago it was kind of true, but I don't see it now. He really doesn't shoot that much. When he's on he is on, and when he's not, he doesn't shoot that much. I'm not a stats guy, but I watch al the games, it really doesn't look like Smart is taking a lot of bad shots.

That's why I threw in the 14th pick. The Thunder are rebuilding. They're not going to seriously compete for a while.

Been playing with the notion of a Kemba + for Paul george deal I read about on the web this morning.
I dont think George ever works on this team but I could see us being able to grab some value by Flipping him elsewhere.

So all deals start with Kemba, Timelord, #14 and #30 to Clippers for George

George to Dallas for THJ, Wright #18
George to Charlotte for Batum #3
George to GSW for Wiggins #2
George to Brooklyn for Allen, Levert, Dinwiddie (perhaps a few of these can be flipped as well.)
George to Utah with Al Horford and Philly pick for Gobert, Conley to Philly
George to Bulls with Poirier and Edwards for Porter Jr, Sato and #4
Geroge to Philly with? for Simmons
Geroge to Pacers for Turner and salary
Geroge to Magic for Ross, Bamba, Gordon
George to Washington for Bryant, Smith, Brown Jr.

does any of it seem reasonable?

You do know Alexander is only 22 years old, still has 2 years left on his rookie deal and OKC has almost complete control over his contract? What more does a rebuilding team wants if not a player like SGA? They have more than enough future picks after George, Westbrook trades and they can get even more by shopping Paul.

I doubt they would even trade SGA for Brown when you take into account their contract situations. Even less likely for a poo poo platter of #14, Langford.

Why not? Smart-Brown-George-Tatum-Center. That's a pretty insane defensive lineup.

We're not talking Kobe. All SGA will do for OKC is add a few worthless wins. This team is going straight into the tank. At least Langford has some potential, especially on D.

Heck, plug in a Jahlil Okafor in there and that would still be a nasty defensive lineup.

Wait, what? Langford at least has potential? Langford will be lucky to reach current SGA level.

I think Roco and Tucker are good players. I'm not a big fan of Gordon.

SGA isn't going anywhere unless it induces a team to take Chris Paul's contract.

I would have to assume team would aggressively shop Hayward for a bigman defender (adams?) or the like
