Couldn't even make it one full year. Unacceptable.

Re: Celtics 2024-25, Season Thread
Brown played high IQ bball in the POs I didn't think he was capable of. He shut me up and gained a lot of respect for him. That's why it's so perplexing to see him revert to this inefficient (40/30/78 splits) and selfish version (33% usage). Tatum is at 30%, Pritchard 19%, White and Hauser 17%. The Jays needs to come down into the high 20's and let White get up to 20-22. The offense would look a lot better. For context, the Jays were at 28 for the playoffs, White at 18.

This is just an opinion, far left field at that... JT openly aiming for MVP (while chasing the B2B titles) might end up not being good for the team as a whole. It opens up other guys wanting something for themselves that may or may not disrupt team vibes/flow we had last year when they were all about sacrifice. And by other guys I mean the FMVP. Which personally I don't mind at all, except he plays for the team I love. If both their mindsets are "it's not just about scoring" and "we have teammates that can make plays too", go ahead, gun for all-star, all-nba, mvp, whatever. Continue making the right play on both ends. The individual accolades will come as we've already seen from last season. It's early, hope they're mindful of the ultimate goal still. We don't want to go back to your-turn-my-turn ball. It's not what brought us success.
Lower usage for them in the regular season allows other teammates to get reps too which will help in the long-term. Less exertion for them on offense. Makes our team less predictable. You all know the deal by now. I trust them to course-correct in time.

It's only been 5 games. And since 3 of our games were blowout wins, it's basically only been 4 games for the regulars.
I wouldn't read so deeply into those numbers, on such a small sample size of games.
Let's also factor in that last season's numbers included games with KP. We've had no KP so far this season - with him in the lineup, the usage goes down for the Jays..
Plus we had no Hauser for 3 of our 5 games so far this season, which also means higher usage for the Jays..
This stuff all evens out over the course of an 82 game season..
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything

Every day the Celtics aren't the #1 seed is a stab in the gut. Let's all pray I don't bleed out.

Tabloid source but I'm not surprised if Cs don't want to restore bridges that Perk already burned with his constant unfair criticism of the Cs.

Those two are like my 2 youngest dogs.
Both similar in age and both come from different backgrounds.
But both grew up together, so even if they're different breeds, so to speak, they are like brothers.
So the safe move would be to keep them together until the early 2030s.
The Celtics will always be in the hunt as long as the Jays are still around.

I don't want to get into politics here but is the forthcoming election the reason why the Celtics haven't done the traditional champions visit to The White House.
Feels like it could become very awkward depending on the result on Tuesday.

If I remember correctly, Pags is a Trump fan where as Wyc isn't.

But, the players probably have the last say in that decision.
