Child, please. 7 straight final appearances. LeBron is basically a ticket to the Finals, it almost doesn't matter how much talent your team has.

Oh my **** god no one cares about your Raptors in fighting. Both of you can shut the **** up.

I never really thought that Philly had a chance at the 3 seed until I looked at their remaining schedule. Wow it is piss easy. A schedule of: Indy, @NYK, BKN, Charlotte, Memphis, @Orlando, Minnesota, Denver, NYK, @Atlanta, @Charlotte, BKN, @Detroit, Cleveland, Dallas, @Atlanta, Milwaukee

They're playing at most 5 playoff teams in that, and all 5 are at home. Minnesota is missing Jimmy Buckets too. Nuts.

Philly being a high playoff seed/easily making the playoffs is about the only thing I got right from my preseason predictions, lol.

I'm gonna be interested to see the COTY votes this year. Lots of good choices this year, but I'm kind of surprised at the sentiment amongst general NBA viewers that we are playing to expectations. Seems like a lot of people forget that we replaced 11 out of 15 players. Media votes for COTY right?

Already forgotten because of how well we came out of the gates.

Most COTY discussion I've seen centers around MDA and Casey, which... whatever.

As I understand it, players who have not been on an NBA roster all season can be signed and be playoff-eligible until the end of the regular season. Players who have been on a roster must have been released before March 1st to be playoff-eligible. And if they aren't playoff-eligible, why bother?

Himmselsbach said that we can sign someone to an injury exceptions if three different players miss at least 10 games, and a doctor determines they could be out for a few more weeks. Could be interesting.

Wouldn't be shocked, if the Celtics get the exception, if Tony Allen is signed

Tony Allen was my thought if smart is going to miss significant time and the reason for my original post. I am severely concerned about the defense of thhis teeam if Smart can't go even when Brown comes back

I'm fairly certain we will still win more games than these so called Doom and gloom predictions. We will then have more praise for the usual Brad is a genius because we will still win without half of our key players.

All right i'm trying to be optimistic here. Some help please? :p

I don't want Brad winning that award. It's bad luck. Only Pop has escaped the jinx associated with it.

2008 - Byron Scott (New Orleans)
2009 - Mike Brown (Cavs)
2010 - Scott Brooks (Thunder)
2011 - Thibs (Bulls)
2012 - Pop (Spurs)
2013 - George Karl (Nuggets)
2014 - Pop (Spurs)
2015 - Budenholzer (Hawks)
2016 - Steve Kerr (Warriors)
2017 - Mike D'Antoni (Rockets)

With that being said, let's hope Dwayne Casey wins it.

So I did some research on the whole Raps fan thing you guys were talking about and looked at their board, most of their posters are fine, no real bad stuff. I think one dude tried to talk s*** on us for injuries and got talked down upon quickly, which is good. Never a good thing to do, to anybody.

But I stumbled upon one of their posters saying like they should expose the media for saying Boston would be better earlier in the season when they "knew" that would be false. Like, I'm sorry, you forgetting Gordon Hayward snapping his ankle in 5 different places? Like, you think, maybe losing our clear-cut second-best player would affect how this season went? A guy who was an All-Star in the loaded Western Conference last year? I couldn't stop laughing man.

Why would we? It’s not like we’ll be in the same bracket until the Conference Finals. I’m just hoping that we meet you there. Let’s just hope that at least Smart will be fully healthy until then.

I think they’re mostly referring to the time period when we had a brutal schedule and you guys were on a 16-game winning streak and most people had you pegged as the team to beat LeBron.

Still, how could you guys have "known" anything? We beat you guys in that stretch, without Kyrie and Hayward. No one saw the Raptor surge coming after that game.

I'm sure he's not speaking on behalf of your own board, but still.
