Serious question: How often has a team that made a big trade at the deadline won a championship? Who was the last player traded at the deadline who played a significant role in a team winning a title?

I don't know the answer but I'm struggling to think of many.

Muscala is a 6'11" guy who can knock down 40% of his 3's.

Griffin is only 6'9", not a very good shooter but his value is moreso coming in off the bench, diving on the floor for loose balls, taking charges, making hustle plays and being a really good teammate, locker room presence.
