Fine, I'll play. It doesn't mean I love this for us.

BOS gets Holiday
TOR gets Brogdon
POR gets Williams, GTJ, 2024 BOS 1st, 2024 TOR 1st, 2025 1st swap, two BOS 2nds.

Sign someone like Biyombo, Noel, or Dedmon (yuck) as insurance big.

Not sure what Raps are doing. So they may not help us or just try to get Jrue themselves.

Lob, GTJ and what amounts to 2.5 1sts and 2 2nds is far too much for Jrue. Blazers accept before boston and toronto can change their mind

Williams, GTJ, 2024 BOS 1st, 2025 BOS 1st swap, two TOR 2nds.

That can be the base. I think two firsts and a young guy would be Blazers starting point for an ask. Just not sure how many teams we have to bid against.

From our standpoint, 2024 BOS 1st is a late 1st. That swap won't convey.

Jrue to Celtics is all but confirmed. Horford, Brown, Smart, and Hauser share the same agent as his.

Celts are fine as is.

No need to sacrifice depth for a slight upgrade at the PG position.

If the Cs don't have White then Jrue is a must have.

Cs just give up too much in a Jrue trade.

If Brad can trade for Jrue without giving up Al and Rob then that's a different story.

Cs need Al to defend the likes of Joel and Jokic.

RWill is the better player at this point, but Rob struggles against those 2 MVP bigs and Giannis.

Interesting fact from Bobby Marks. Teams over the apron can still sign a waived player making more than the NT-MLE as long as he's waived before the start of the season.

So if for some reason Hayward gets bought out during the preseason, Cs can sign him before opening night even if they're above the first apron.

As for the Celtics trading for jrue; im super super conflicted and honestly as close to evenly split as I can ever remember so I’ll be a coward and say I trust Brad to do what is right

Bucks joined tier 1 contenders again; we still have a good shot but it’ll be way more of a shootout than ever before between us and the bucks. They don’t have good matchups for our scorers and lillard vs out drop is painful.

As always; the healthiest team will win but bucks top the nba in top end talent in the short term. But above all it’s not the heat so **** those guys

Don’t want jrue in the bay though. Turning cp3 and Kuminga in jrue would be very very very annoying

Flashbacks of our defense against the Dubs in the Finals when Curry went OFF. Though admittedly offense was our main problem then. If we had Porzingis and Brogdon instead of Grant and Smart, we would be significantly better on O.

Instead of Curry-Klay-Wiggs-Dray-Looney, it's Dame-Khris-Connaughton-Giannis-BroLo.

There’s a **** ton riding on rob this year low key man. Im stupid high on the season he’s gonna have, but there’s a real chance I look super foolish and he’s just hurt again.

Just to be on record; I believe in the healthy off season narrative to translate into health and production but at the same time; I know nothing and everything can fall apart. Sports is pain but all that said; Tatum makes the “final” leap and that’s all that matters.

Im rambling and not coherent but aaaargjkapydhktmy excitement !

SO you're telling me Holiday gets POR more than Lilard? Cause this seems more than what Lilard got the Bucvks- 1 unprotected 1st and 2 swaps.
Good assessment:

My theory is Portland doesn't want players, they have enough young pieces. They're looking for picks now.

Al/Malcolm/PP, Warriors 1st or our 1st and a 2nd. Blaze get 2 vets to pair with their young roster and we get Jrue.

That said... I think Al still has it even though he's aging. Would really hate to lose him.

I am starting to wonder if there's a player that we barely talk about that Brad is ready to go all in for.

I wonder if stealth Brad is up to something.

Jrue Holiday is pretty good. But is he worth the, at least, 2 players that it would take from the Celtics?

I.e.: Holiday = Brogdon + White

More likely than not it would be RW3 over White. I can't see Brad dealing him for many players.
