Kawhi needs to stop being a fool lakers seem like they don’t even want him this season. Just go to the Celtics and restore balance

If the Lakers cannot get a deal done with San Antonio, and Kawhi has a choice of staying in San Antonio, or going to Boston in a trade with assurance that he will sign an extension, Kawhi is at a point where he would prefer Boston. Especially, with LeBron out of the East. Boston equals a great chance to compete in the finals every year, endorsements, etc. His camp is still very much so in the LA-state of mind and trying to figure out a way to get him there. But it's not even close to being a guarantee....

I don't know if this is a statement from your point of view or you have sources on this, but if Kahwi gives an assurance to resign i think every player outside of Tatum should be available in a trade.

Wait a moment. Kawhi wants out of San Antonio so urgently that he'd rather be traded now with a commitment to stay in the new city rather than play out the year and be a free agent?
Spurs won't let Kawhi play a year then just bail. They aren't the Thunder.

Told you so.

He literally only has to play at 50% in the playoffs and they won’t lose a single game. The upgrade from Zaza to him at half strength is insane. But I agree With you as a whole

The next time Boogie contributes to winning will be the first time. Couldn’t even do it in college.

He is overrated trash.

He's still a heck of an upgrade over Javale McGee and Zaza.

The Anthony Davis to Boston train will pick back up next offseason when the Celtics could have as many as 4 1st round picks PLUS an even more valuable Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum.

We can't trade for Davis so long as Kyrie is on the team.

See this from Bobby Marks:

The Celtics cannot acquire a player like Anthony Davis because of the Rose rule. Boston is allowed to trade for only one player (Kyrie Irving) that was signed with the Rose rule.

I believe once Kyrie gets his new deal we can.

I'm onboard the "trade for Kawhi" train after the Boogie news.

Time to end this Warriors team.

Wouldn't that not be the case anymore once we re-signed Kyrie to a non Rose rule contract next offseason?

Yeah I believe after we re-sign Kyrie not with the Derrick Rose rule we can then trade for AD which is perfect for the next offseason.
Correct

Then why did Danny try to sign him?

It’s low-risk, but suffice to say, I have gone over the top mocking his supporters for years based on what I have heard about him, and have been proven completely correct so far.

Back when the rest of you guys wanted to give up 2-3 Nets picks for him, I LOL’d and said I wouldn’t take him for free, even if the Kings threw in their lottery pick.

He’s a **** loser and a scumbag and a career loser halfway through a career. He is so so hated by so many people who have been around him, and crumbles at the first sign of adversity every single time. It will happen again.

Again, I told you so.

Me too.

Smart, Morris, Yabusele, Memphis 2019 pick and Boston 2019 pick.

That’s it!

That's insulting to San Antonio. A joke of an offer.

Have them find a better offer. Apparently, they can’t.

You don’t give up more for a guy that can and most likely will leave in a year

But don't get me wrong ddb, I still hope that we hash this trade out for Kawhi. I think we can convince him to stay.

Replace Yabuelse with Rozier and that's more of what the offer would be.

Not amazing, but the Spurs may not get much more.

Yeah. Can they find better though? Not sure. I’d add the Sac pick.

I see nothing really happened today.

Although I read a funny comment from a Cavs fan about Lebron being "in the fat Elvis part of his career."

Is he nuts? The west is going to be a blood bath.

Think it's more about lifestyle and his family and building his brand than anything else.

It just has the MJ to Wizards vibe.

Celtics are going to be special for a long time with or without Kawhi. I literally don't care one way or another on the Kawhi trade front. And I'm not the least bit concerned with whatever decision Ainge makes.

My Spurs people have been saying Kawhi ordeal will be mid to late Summer.

True.

I won't lie though, these west coast games at night after the Celtics......will be entertaining.

Return to Boston Celtics
