Tacko Fall will sign an Exhibit 10 contract with the Boston Celtics, a source told ESPN. Pencil in July 8th at 430 at Thomas and Mack for your first TACKO Vegas Summer League fix.

Summer league just got a whole lot more entertaining

I went to UCF the same time as Tacko. Super hard working and humble guy. Great student and improved his game a ton from his Freshman to his Senior year. Will have to find a way to stay out of foul trouble, but could definitely find some minutes in the NBA for a few seasons.

These picks made our offense more versatile.. or better said, will potentially make our offense more versatile.

Our offense started to get one dimensional. We lacked inside scoring, players who can post up or drive and kick, we didn't got the easy go to buckets in the paint. And the biggest issue was for us was getting to the line. These 3 guys are exactly what our current players lack. Danny and the crew looked for the right blend this time and i think that they got it right finally.

Defensively we will never diminish because of coach Stevens, but what truely hurt us this season was our offense. Opponents made easy adjustments and we never had an answer that's how one dimensional we got. These picks will potentially resolve this issue.

The only thing that i probably didnt like was that we passed on Sekou. Another euro who could pan out like Giannis or Siakam. But on the other hand Langford wouldve been a top 5 pick or perhaps even top 3 if he didn't injure his hand. So i hope Ainge made the right decision here.

Most folks here scoffed when I said the Celtics should take Samanic with #20 or #22, but Buford and Popovich beat the Celtics to it. Barring injury, Samanic will be a 10-12 year pro and, two years from now, everyone will be asking how the Spurs got him outside the lottery.

Hey look at you. Grandstanding as usual. I guess we will see in 3-4 years if you are correct. As we know, you do this every year yet never come back and support your claims.

Did the Spurs draft him at #18 or didn't they? I guess they liked him better than Grant Williams.

Samanic benefited from his combine play, if not for that he would’ve been a second round pick. Either he’s a legit player starting to emerge or he had a hot hand for a couple of days.

Do you think Buford and Popovich were simply wowed by his showing at the combine? Or do you think they have had their eye on him since he left Zagreb for Barcelona at age 17 and later starred for the Croatian U19 team?

It’s entertaining - but I don’t remember anyone scoffing at Samanic.. There were a lot of Williams fans, Langford had some backers and some skeptics, there were some Carsen Edwards fans.. no one mentioned Waters.

He played 24mpg. Foul trouble and stamina, he's 7'7" and started playing ball like 6 years ago.

Per 40 he's at 12.2rbs, 18pts, 4.2 blocks and 75% shooting....

He will never be a stater, but with hard hard work, I think he can play 15 mins off the bench on the right team in 4-5 years.

Just like Ntilikina was the best PG in 2017 draft according to you. Your french/euro bias is well documented.

What about Curm’s year of the Dragan (Bender)? Post after post about how amazing he would be and zero acknowledgment after the fact. Can’t have it both ways.

Grant Williams' game is somewhat similiar to Semi, no?

Yes, Bender flopped in Phoenix, in part because he was misused. He's still only 21 years old, so I wouldn't write him off quite yet.
