Sixers need more than just Embiid and Maxey to beat the Cs in a 7-game series.

IDK, I think those guys will be enough if healthy. 2 absolutely unarguable players.

45-6-5-3 for Maxey, team-high +16. Good job Danny for picking Nesmith over him.

IDK, I think those guys could be enough. 2 absolutely unarguable players.

The supporting is not that good.

In today's NBA, you can lockdown 2 great players.

The winning recipe is having a team like the Nuggets, 2 great players with a great supporting cast.

What the Celtics have is special.
So I don't think even the Nuggets can beat the Celtics in the finals.

The Nuggets losing Bruce Brown and Jeff Green really hurt their depth.

I can never hate on Danny for missing out on Maxey and Bane because if Danny picked Hield over Jaylen and Fultz over Tatum...

Maxey may be a real problem. Step back three for 50!

He's already a huge problem, he has an elite offensive skillset and he's only 23.

My bad. It's 50-7-5-3.

The other Tyrese not so bad either. 25 pts and 17 assists with 0 turnovers. Only 4th player ever to do that.

Sixers rolling though they've yet to face a real team on the road. 6 of their games are at home. 2-1 on the road.

embiid is the only dude who will be hard to stop but Cs have done as good as you can for years (al needs to be healthy). maxey is a PLAYAAAAAA, really love his confidence, but Cs will handle him fine in a series. going to exhaust them like every season.

6ers are probably better without harden because Maxey is blooming tho.

I mean, we beat them by 50. An 11 point victory is the best the Sixers can do with Maxie scoring 50?

Maxey is an excellent scorer, but he gets targeted on defense.

Maxey/Embiid are the best duo in the league right now

Pacers played awfully bad against us with no Haliburton to lead the offense.

I don’t expect another 50 point win but the Celtics should handle the Pacers on talent alone.

I would not be surprised if Maxey continues on a 35+ scoring streak with news of Oubre’s accident. He dedicated the game to him post game.

I’m a little concerned for when we see them this week. Sixers look so much better coached than last year and have some nice bench depth. We will need to be fully focused from the start.

I’ll give it to Tatum and KP but it’s close.

When was the last time the sixers beat the Celtics in a playoff series? They’re chokers until they prove otherwise. I can only hope we get them again in the playoffs this year

Sixers didn't have a 2nd elite player to pair with Embiid before. They do now.

Return to Boston Celtics
