Addition by subtraction?

Gobert is a top tier star in this league and Favors has been unreal at the 5 ....

No.

Dont justify the loss by saying addition by subtraction

Yeah I don't agree with it either. Laid an egg.

But hey, it's not like your team hasn't either

Yup ... Toronto played a stinker against the Cs and the Clips .... But they are now only 3 games back with 4 games in hand... And after having the toughest schedule in the NBA, they are about to have one of the easiest for the remainder of the season

Morris has become too much of a gamble, at this point.
We're not sure of the duration of his injury.

I say Trade him, and get some scoring on the Bench.

Who is trading for him when he's hurt? That is the problem with dealing him. Value is pretty low right now.

How many scorers do Houston have? Harden, CP3, Gordon. Who else?

Sure that Celtics game was a stinker  ?

I mean you were the same guy who said OG Anunoby's advanced stats were second best among rookies (behind Simmons) then you missed the whole Tatum's advanced numbers were significantly better than his part.

This CoachD dude is quite obsessed with the Celtics. The C's playing the entire season without their second star, with like 6 rookies and second year guys in the rotation still have a better record than a 100% healthy Raps team with a bunch of veterans all in their prime. Yikes.

You’re posting here for one reason, don’t play coy. And it wasn’t to lecture Celtics fans on justifying a loss.

I read posts to see what people thought about the game. Then I read that sillyness about being better without Gobert / Favors.

Sorry.. But in no universe is that trolling.

I also wasn't trolling when someone tagged me onto this board and posted personal attacks.

Thanks though

Those are 3 amazing scorers though. Harden being the best in the NBA with Gordon being the best off the bench in the NBA. Still have Ariza..Anderson. They have consistency in the form of super solid vets. We have a bunch of up and down 21 year olds. It's a different timeline tbf..Houston is way more advanced and ready to win.

You make no sense. At all.

Last year, we were 13-12 at this time. -- We're now 20-7.

I think most people will agree that Cleveland is the favorite to come out the east.

Not me. I like Mitchell more despite age.

Mitchell looks more like an "alpha" player. Tatum isn't very assertive yet. Otherwise I prefer Tatum.

Mitchell seems to be more versatile ability wise. Huge motor, his shooting stroke is so pure, very crafty around the rim and can orchestrate offense. I see a lot of Harden in him but with great defense.

Mitchell’s big plus over Tatum is he can run an offence and get others involved. Tatum just looks to score only, needs to look for the open man when teams collapse on his drives.

Not by much and only because of James. You watch them play and there is nothing impressive about them. Schedule soft as baby poo..when is the last time they played a contender or a tough team on the road? Indiana? And they lost? Yeah.

Good lord. Get a grip.

I typically keep the optimism and enthusiasm for the team when I am out with friends and doing other things for the games. I chose to vent my fustrations in these threads, because I can. There's nothing trollish about that. I'm not trying to get a rise out of people.

My comment was in reference to someone who said we are still better than Cleveland. As far as my comment about this team being like last year... is this team this year without Hayward NOT a 50-55 win team with ECF as it's ceiling? This place is like a cult sometimes man, nothing about what I said was trolling.

For the record, I think we can take Cleveland 6, and beat them with Gordon.

Fixed

Also the only thing I agree with about the similarities between this year's team and last year's team is both play down to competition too much. Actually, to be honest, I might make a thread about it.
