That pick could end up being very tasty. This season took a nasty turn for us in 2018 (to say nothing of opening night).

You're definitely right about us.

But the Nets still got 5 games vs tanking teams. Plus us the last night of the season when we'll be chilling probably.

I could see them w/ 25 wins. Prob have the 7th best odds.

Word. I've always cringed when people say "College hoops is much more pure than the NBA. Great product!". All I see is 1, maybe 2 guys, who can create their own shot, and a bunch of scrubs.

The only thing I enjoy more about college hoops are the school bands and the chants from the crowd. Better ambience.

Don't look now, but the Pelicans are 1.5 games out of the 9 seed.

The AD flame is still flickering a bit lightly!

Looks like the Raptors are going to beat the Pacers (shoutout to the Pacers choke, like I said they are no threat at all). Hopefully Cleveland loses to Portland tonight so the Pacers keep the 3 seed.

Cleveland's starting Jeff Green at the 5 since Nance/Love/Thompson are all out. Zizic the only healthy center.

Blazers won. LeBron LeChoked a layup at the end that would've cut it to 3. Cavs remain the fourth seed.

Looks like the Pacers did pretty well in this game though but blew the lead in the end which a lot of teams do vs. the Raptors. Pacers are a tough team, tons of energy. I like their chances if they can hold strong coming up with more tough games. Sabonis is out again for their next game vs. Washington.

Oladipo doesn't seem to be going wild though lately scoring. Maybe he gets hot again?

Toronto is just that good though......and they seem pretty healthy.

Good for Portland though. Thats 11 straight wins now for them. Cleveland is pretty banged up too........yikes this injury epidemic is really something lately.

Difference is Cleveland's injuries are minor while some of ours are major :(

Just finished watching Cavs v Blazers and boy do the Cavs look bad. Portland was playing some nice ball, probing the defence and making the right passes, whilst it was a struggle at times even remembering who was on the court for the Cavaliers at times.

Story of the Brooklyn Nets season:

Play hard, get a lead on a better team, go down the stretch, blow the game, lose.

Rinse, repeat.

Anyone else get the feeling that the Raps are primed for an early Playoff exit? If they gotta deal with the Bucks in the 1st round and then Cleveland/Philly/Washington in the 2nd round they are dealing some of the league's elite superstars while they won't have one to combat them (Derozan is borderline at best, and he isn't a good Playoff performer). Great bench/supporting cast but the lack of a dominant offensive force could really hurt them especially considering those teams with the exception of Philly are talented with some Playoff experience under their belt,

One could say the same thing about the Celtics... Outside of Kyrie, great bench/supporting cast but lack of a dominant offensive force.

The playoffs for the Raptors hinges on Lowry actually playing up to what he can, and have a bench that replaces Patterson, Ross and Carroll's bricks...

The Celtics will most certainly have a tough time in the early rounds. I believe they can get through it with their coaching advantage and having an elite Playoff performer like Kyrie and another very good one in Horford. I just think some of those lower seeded teams are real threat because they've either been underachieving/injured (Cleveland/Washington) or are younger up and coming teams with star players (Milwaukee/Philly). Neither the Raps or Celtics are a proven juggernaut that are guaranteed to beat those teams.
