Is this a government department, getting demoted upstairs with a pay rise and more power?
Rick Pitino was much more qualified than Steven Brad.
President?
Lifetime contract?
He has nothing to do with Boston, or the Celtics.
This is a farce.
Zero success.
Maybe he had success when the definition is used of an obscure college amateur team, but for what the Boston Celtics expect he has zero.
The proverbial Jobs For The Boys, Gravy Train, Who You Know Not What You Know.
Instead of Brad talking to an Ainge would make the decision, now Brad will take to an Ainge and then make the decision?

Most likely it is just a landing spot for Brad until he comes up with his next gig, in an effort by Wyc not to have to pay the 10s of millions they owe him if they don't have to (and to at least get a contribution out of him if they do).

there you are.
Patience playa patience.
Ainge out as chief executive, new GM coming.
Stevens out as head coach, new HC coming in.
Final domino will be Stevens accepting a new coaching gig. Only question is where and when? Personally I think it's all lined up for Duke. But Charlotte's a possibility too.
And now we know why what our eyes were seeing.

Otherwise he would be pissed at being passed over, and would probably be looking to leave now (which for all I know he may well be, but it doesn't seem like it for now). Brad is a more of a figurehead than Ainge. I think Comedian even mentioned something like this in one of his Com bombs.
