Bonus question #1: Who were the 3 rookies we drafted that year (and in what order)?
Bonus question #2: We traded one of those 3 rookies during his rookie season. What did we trade him for?

Nice job -- you got 4/5 starters and the bonus questions.

Oh shoot, was Waltah off the bench? Did Williams start? Or did someone else start at the 2 guard? JJ was the ideal 2 in that lineup before the trade.

Battie
Walker/Rogers
Mccarty/Williams
Pierce/brown/forte
Anderson/delk

K brown/forte

That's an 8 man rotation with 2 scrubs. Don't remember many others. Potapenko? Pervis? Greg minor? Barros?

Erick Strickland or Washington? Palacio? Fortson?

You got it -- Williams instead of Waltah. I'm still pissed we traded Joe Johnson to get two bench vets for a half-assed playoff run. Mark Blount was on that team as well. In the playoffs we were basically using an 8 man rotation (starters plus Delk, Rogers and 10 mpg of Walter) with an occasional appearance from Erick Strickland. And somehow we were up 2-1 in the ECF.

Who were the first married couple to both be in their respective Halls of Fame? (US major team sports)

Only one I know is Rachel Robinson, Jackie Robinson's wife.
She got the Lifetime Achievement Award, in the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Two more:

-- Which Celtics have been officers of the Player's Association?
-- Which Player's Association officers have also been league MVPs?

Hint:
Spoiler:
The offices other than President were created very recently -- specifically, in 2013.

Only one I know is Jaylen Brown. He's a VP.
Are there others?

Good one, that I never knew or thought of. But hardly the first. :)

Hint:

Spoiler:
The man was a broadcaster who actually called the game in which his most famous playing record was broken.

To be clear, there's no particular Celtic connection to this question.

Most definitely, and much more importantly so than Jaylen.

Bob Cousy created the player's association and was its first pres. Tommy Heinsohn succeeded him.

Exactly!

And that reminds me of another question:

What did the Player's Association do to finally get the owners to recognize them as a union?

Who was the SF who played for the 87-88 Celtics who Tommy Heinsohn loved like Waltah and was one of the first in a long line of scrubs he said would be a star? Johnny Most once said his name was backwards.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Maybe Darren Daye could chime in on this one?

You are correct, Sir. A contemporaneous news article linked below frankly tells the story a little differently than others I've seen do, and it's possible the later ones are more accurate in the areas where they disagree.

I was thinking Daye but maybe Robert Freds could be a forward name?

My first guess was Conner Henry because Henry is a first name. Not sure if he was a SF or SG though.

I remember Bird was an advocate for Lohaus and was frustrated he didn't get more run. "I knew the kid could play!"
