You can't win every trade, play hardball with everyone. It eventually does backfire.

Again its reddit and everyone apparently has sources these days but not a lot of smoke in the Celtics favor this morning.
Hes also extremely confident that Kawhi goes to the Lakers this summer....so

That’s the plan. The Lakers are trying hard to get the deal done in the next few days. Their plan is to get the deal done before the draft, which is a week away.
The Lakers are under a lot of pressure right now to make that deal. They can wait out one more year and get AD in free agency without having to give up anything. But the Laker fanbase is getting restless with their management/ownership. But more importantly Lebron doesn’t want to wait another year to play with an all star.
Lakers are the front runners to get AD. The Celtics still can get AD if Ainge comes in and overpays. And that’s what the Pelicans want.

Deal done in principle before then allows pels to work out players they would take with the 14 20 or 22....doesn’t have to be official till July 1

exactly... screw him
If winning and salary aren't a priority, Brooklyn it is.
Lol.
He gets less winning and less salary than in Boston. Think about that .

This offseason can determine whether the celtics are championship contenders, or a mediocre team. Not looking good so far. Unreal.

I really hope Wizards are not that dumb.
Basically eliminates these other pretend all star guys like Gordon, Lavine etc.

Danny is an idiot if he doesn't put Tatum out there. This is your guy. Go get him

Assume Tatum, Smart, and Memphis pick are gone. Build a contender that can beat the Bucks, Warriors and the Raptors... go!
I just wanna see y'all creativity.
Brown/Hayward/Horford/AD is a good base. What do you have for the rest of the roster?

And we were not supposed to jump to conclusions about Kyrie? All of a sudden your opinion is to back out of all this. LOLAfam wrote:Brown is not going to get it done. Celtics should back away. At this point they are wasting new orleans time. They ( Celtics, Danny Ainge has been stockpiling assets/picks etc since 2013 for the chance to acquire Anthony Davis. Now that he is available, they are not going all in. They knew what the cost were going to be for years.
Yes kyrie could leave the celtics, there is a risk to that, as well as trading Jayson Tatum and losing both players, but everything you do requires risks.
If the celtics can't meet the pelicans asking price, then walk away. Jaylen Brown is not going to get it done. The pelicans wants a player with all star potential they can sell to their fans. They can't do that with Jaylen Brown.

If pels can end up with Ingram and Beal or kuzma Beal that’ll seal it for them

Imo Chi or Pho will give 6/7th pick for Ball...but still can not see 4+6 being enough to get Beal.

Ernie D is gone now which means stupid decisions by the Wiz are going to happen far less. I have trouble believing they give away Beal for anything other than a massive package. They have no incentive whatsoever to trade him
