Wow, have they talked to any other guys that often? That has to be a good sign right? Getting in for a second interview usually means you are close to getting the job

A report a few days ago had them interviewing Billups, Ham, and Udoka for second interviews.

I know others have said he's not a great fit and the Cs prefer a minority candidate, but he's the most proven coach on the market. Seems a little weird for Steven's to be Carlisle's boss though, less so than a younger less experienced guy like Udoka or others.

I like those qualities

It's up to Udoka. He picks his assistants. He can choose to keep some or all of the previous celtics assistants or start fresh with new guys..
Anyone else think Ginobili would make a good coach? Udoka played with Ginobili in San Antonio and he also coached Ginolobili when Udoka coached in San Antonio. Maybe Udoka can bring on Ginobili as an assistant.
I could see Manu being a really good assistant. The dude oozes passion and knowledge for the game of basketball - he always raised the level of his game come playoff time, very well respected by coaches/teammates he had in San Antonio, was very loyal to Spurs organization, staying with them his entire career, comes across very poised, articulate, humble in the media, smiley guy who seems like he gets along with everyone but at the same time was a fierce competitor on the court. Played in 4 NBA finals, winning 4 of them. Defensive mentality - was one of the league's best defenders during his prime.

are you saying that you think Manu wouldn't coach because he's too happy/content hanging out with cute puppies?
