He’s not even guaranteed to be here and regardless I really don’t think he’s got much left.

He’s shown clear signs of decline the last two years (still a very good player to have).

Cannot believe people keep justifying the Celtics will be contenders in two seasons if their roster is similar to how it was in 2022 or 2023, because apparently Horford is still that good and will basically carry our front court with Tatum.

You're missing the forest for the trees. The point is that you can surround prime JT and JB, and Derek, with reasonably good players and be a contender. it's not that hard. It doesn't have to be Horford or Kornet or Hauser.

You severely underrate how skilled and impactful Horford has been.

If Horford wants to come back he’ll be back. Celtics will leave it up to him. He’s a HOFer and while he might not be a “Celtic Legend” like Russell Bird etc…his number is going up there at some point.
