We're due for a bad season, no one's happy about it.. Don't ruin the board with bickering, guys. This team's putting up a nice fight right now..

Thanks for playing. You loose.

You mean "lose," don't you?

Both. It's OT. I've had a couple :D doesn't change the fact that you are b*tching about what Danny is doing but have no better ideas...

Doesn't seem much better than the original deal unless the pick is different.

Danny's got to be annoying a lot of people with all sorts of trade protection proposals the last few hours…

I don't get it. Holding out for Salmons? What's the advantage?

Wouldn't you assume the advantage to be a slightly better chance at a better pick?

Potentially two first rounders / One first and two early seconds + future cap space is about the return I would expect from Green + Wright. Very happy that 1. Danny got this done before Green walks for nothing 2. He got Green to a team where he can compete in the playoffs.

This season will finish "successfully" in my eyes if we can find a suitor for Bass, get good minutes to Smart and Young, and secure a high draft pick for the draft. I'm not fond of creating a losing atmosphere any more than any of you are, but in the spot we are at we need a high draft pick if we want this rebuild to go any faster.

Rebuild is going in the right direction, I can't wait to see what we can turn these picks into. Hope y'all are ready for a long haul, let's stay positive and trust in Ainge. GO GREEN

I was assuming maybe the pick comes from NO instead of MEM - but then again Quincy's gone downhill and I don't know what Salmons' contract is, so I don't know - I'm sure Danny's trying to pry every little thing he can.

The hangup is the Grizz have to move another player before taking Jeff Green so they stay out of the luxury tax. That's why a 3rd team is needed to take QP.

Celtics will probably waive both Salmons and Prince.

You are correct Sir. Reading the tweets now. The Gizz are the ones pushing for the 3-way. Maybe we pick up another 2nd from the Pels (hehehe... their name still makes me laugh Every Time) for the trouble...

They could just give us Anthony Davis and call it even. LOL!

Nah... they would still have to give us that 2nd to make up for taking on Davis' contact...

What's the salary? If we are trading Green for a protected first, hopefully we can get some salary relief. To then just waive Prince and Salmons?

Not happy with that. Waste of money. Just keep Green and let him walk over a protected first.

We could just buy a first rounder for the money we would waive with. We have to get something back for waiving that salary. Maybe another deal where we trade prince for a a protected second rounder or something in a salary dump.

Makes the urgency to trade Wright make more sense as well. We need the roster spot. Even if it's only for a day, before we waive any/all Nelson, Prince, Salmons... I wonder if we pick up some D-League guys with those roster spots? Isn't Chris Johnson a FA right now? Wolters?
