Time will tell but right now the returns for Danny's drafting in 2016 look very, very promising. It was a horrible draft in which to have eight picks and three first-rounders. Danny parlayed that into a superb prospect in Jaylen Brown; only Ben Simmons might prove to be clearly superior in time. Zizic by all current accounts is one the the top 10 players to come out of that draft. I wouldn't trade him for Dragan Bender or Buddy Hield.

The jury is way out on Yabusele, but it is hard not to get captivated by his talent, size, skill and athleticism. I think he looks better now as a prospect than he did on draft night or in summer league. The people who actually see him in China appear to be universal in their enthusiasm for his NBA prospects.

Then Danny parlayed two 2016 2nd rounders into a (lotto-protected) future no. 1 pick from the Clippers. He also got Demetrius Jackson, whom I suspect will be a bust, but I could be proven wrong. And of course Abdel Nader, who I think will play in the NBA for a few years at least.

Only wipe out for now--Ben Bentil.

The fact that BK is likely to start LeVert, #20 overall, after dealing Bogs, if not immediately, certainly by next season is another. It's a very young and raw class. It'll take a few seasons for guys like Bender, Chriss, Maker, Papagiannis, D. Murray and Zubac to develop and get time. You'll all be proven wrong in a few seasons when you look back on it. People just don't see the forest for the trees, are very short sighted and prone to groupthink.

Agreed. Basketball Reference has something similar called Game Score (PTS + 0.4 * FG - 0.7 * FGA - 0.4*(FTA - FT) + 0.7 * ORB + 0.3 * DRB + STL + 0.7 * AST + 0.7 * BLK - 0.4 * PF - TOV.) but they don't have a live box score.
