With how many nailbiters had to go our way all bubble long, that's ^ pretty much how I feel right now.

Thank Red we can finally focus 100% on our own team from here on.

In the state farm commercials I think the imposter CP3 looks more like John Bagley than Chris Paul.

Cool beans!

In my fantasy draft we get the 3rd pick and select James Wiseman, then package the other two pick get Cole Anthony. If it's 14, Anthony might be there and seems like a great choice for the Celtics.

As far as I understand, if the Grizzlies advance in the lottery the pick won't convey this year.

Yep Top 6 protected this year and unprotected next year.

Well... it's MY fantasy!

Actually, I forgot about the conveyance thing. Well, still happy we got to move up a few picks as the mid-to-late first round isn't that exciting. Then again, we didn't get to see much of these players this year so there are gems to be found.

I like Kira Lewis or Cole Anthony at 14 if they are available.

Every game I watch the Grizz play, the more convinced I am I don't want the pick to carry over to next year. They just play way too hard. As limited as they may be, teams that play as hard they do steal wins throughout a long regular season.

Then add another year of growth for Ja, and another top-4 pick... Just give me the bird in the hand, please.

We can trade out with our other picks, if we want to push something to next year or beyond.

Danny needs to nail this pick or package all 3 to move up a couple slots.

Please no more wing or guards.

Pelicans,Kings,Spurs,Suns,Wizards should be trade up targets. Maybe even the Hornets too.

That is correct. The protection is top 6 or something like that, more than covering the top 4 that a a lucky lottery ball might get them to.

And 14 is the one lottery placement that can't conceivable move to a later spot, so the only possibiities seem to be #14 or an unprotected rollover into next year. And the chance of the latter is said to be 2.4%.

Would love to see a trade up. Truth be told I wouldn't mind a point guard. Kemba is hitting 30 and someone on a rookie deal could be really nice to have around to back him up. Plus, the team could really use a solid backup pg. Real good list of pgs with size this draft, too.

But I'm no draft geek. I'll be hopeful for whatever we get as long as it's not an undersized shooting guard or 6'6" pf

there should be potential future starting PG throughout the first round especially at #14 though there might be a big we need there too. At minimum, we should be able to draft Kemba's backup and Wannamaker's replacement somewhere in the first.

Keep an eye out for Pritchard. He has some Trae Young type skills

I'm probably in the minority that I'll take talent at any position. I think there's developmental minutes for anyone worth them, and Kemba and Hayward won't be around forever.

A day-one contributing PG with decent size can earn as much of the Wanamaker/Edwards/Waters share (played 52% of available minutes cumulatively) as they can manage, a day-one contributing big man can vie with Timelord to split last season's Kanter/Timelord/Poirier/Fall 55% share, and a day-one contributing wing can vie with all of Langford, Green, Semi, and Grant (88% share cumulatively).

Maybe we don't feel great about Langford/Grant/Timelord potentially getting their minute share eaten into, but if the new prospect is a better prospect, you live with it.
