No future planning at all, no planning for now at all. Organization is apparently content with not winning a championship this year or being a legit threat. Sure 1-4 we are competetive, but 5-15 we cannot score, are generally handicapped with physical limitations and half of the top 4 players are injury prone.

But at least we have 3 more draft picks in the first round to add to the 15+2 member roster already here.

Guess we say goodby to Kanter, goodbye to Green, Goodbye to Semi, Goodbye to wannamaker in the offseason and replace them with a lle player and 3 more rookies.

2020-2021 lineup

Kemba/edwards/Rookie
Brown/Smart/Romeo
Hayward/LLE/Rookie
Tatum/GrantW/
Theis/Timelore/Tacko

gross.

But...the Celtics have won 8 out of 9 games

Edwards could be an Eddie House type for us, but Brad gotta play his binky Semi.
LMAO Edwards could be like Eddie House??? Jesus, that would be a miracle if he even got near what Eddie was

Kanter - will opt out
Semi - will have to be let go
Green - will be gone
brad - will have to go

2 KEY bench members this season gone.

and replaced with

Memphis pick (outside lotto)
Boston pick (20s)
Bucks pick (30)
And a LLE contract.

Bench will be WORSE next season.

This is not what will happen.
The most charitable interpretation is that it's ethnic cleansing and massive war crimes.

Smart and Hayward will be the backup pg's in the playoffs, not Wanamaker.

3 Reasons

1) Rich Paul/Klutch
2) LeBron
3) That lifestyle

I wonder if the Lakers would cut McHee or Dwight for him. Dwight is a ticking time bomb, he’s bound to upset team chemistry eventually.

I understand that, but TT is all about money and loves the clubs... Houston and Clips achieve that and with a more defined role

Now we're complaining that Semi, Green and Wanamaker might not be back next year? Really?

Keep in mind Edwards is only a rook. Think we’re all guilty of expecting too much too soon with these guys.

Reports were we wouldn't waive anyone for Burks or GRIII so why would we do it now?

We wouldn’t waive guaranteed contracts In 2020-21. Gotta believe we would move Green for Tristan.

Ainge makes no sense. We needed to get older and some shooting.

We really don't though. Getting older sucks. We need more experience two ways to do that and one of them is let these guys play in the post season. Boston's top 7 have plenty of playoff experience. It would be nice to get a veteran who can knock down a shot but I am not panicked about it. The team has won 8 of 10 against 6 playoff opponents.

I'm totally kidding. I stand by my earlier pronouncements.

CHAMPIONSHIPS!

And it starts this June. Book it. Or you won't hear from me for another year.

Yeah, judge me all you want, guys. But I'm not a bit happy with this deadline and the team being comfortable with being a 2nd round team. Other Eastern teams got better and we just stayed the same. I'm done for this. Let's see what will happen, but I won't lie, I don't have high hopes for this season.

Imagine feeling this, after watching the team this year.
I'm happy that we're good, but we're not championship level good, understand what I mean?

Then what is the deal that was possible to get us from the one to the other? Because I didn't see any such players moved this week.

Cool. Later.

For the record, that was not me, just in case you lost track of the thread.

I'm aware and I apologize to you if you truly found that to be out of bounds but comparatively speaking I didnt find it as offensive as the guy who told me to shut up if I didnt like what ainge was doing.

No issues with you. Sorry my man.

We're good. This is way too insignificant a disappointment to actually get all acrimonious over. We got a playoff run to make.

I think McGee would be a prime cut candidate. Also can't see Boston signing him due to his representation as well...

100% agreed

Kanter will opt in. Semi will be kept. We’ll give a second a cash to a team to take/cut Poirier for us. Green will be cut. Edwards will be stretched.
