Lmao. It’s pretty damn hard to blow by someone like Simmons man.

I know he regressed but he’s still an unbelievable defender

It's fascinating how two people (you and I in this instance) can watch the same exact thing and come away with completely opposite reactions.

Someone should let Larry B, Dirk, and KD know all those fade-aways were ill-advised shots. Also, a Javonte Green corner 3 isn't an ideal shot either. But, it's true, Brown does not have the vision to see these opportunities. I was disappointed that he drove into the pack a number of times down the stretch and got swallowed up with no real plan. Overall, though, he's made progress but not going to be a combo guard type player.

Personally I loved the gesture.

I found the article I was talking about. He really isn't saying anything that bad it's just rare you hear something like that. It's funny because Simmons is one of the best defenders in the league now.

When asked about his approach to playing Simmons, Brown said, “just play hard, lock him up. Try to keep him off the glass. Try to attack him on the offensive end. He doesn’t like to guard, so try to attack on the offensive end, things like that.”

He already had Simmons beat. He stopped because Howard was in the paint. It's quite obvious.

Lets be honest here, Jaylen would have been criticized had he passed to Green and his 11% 3P%.

Once again Jaylen is in an absolute no win position no matter what the outcome is.

I loved that move and wish it hadn’t been Jaylen’s last highlight of the night.

I liked his decision making down the stretch, but the execution wasn't good enough. 2 or 3 times in the last 10 minutes or so, he drove into a crowd and brought the ball down to finish around the defender and ended up either getting stuffed or risking an up-and-down violation. He needs to get to the line there.

JB did that after Embiid did it earlier to one of our players (TT or Theis?). The teams were jawing all night. Too bad Embiid still balled while JB fizzled.

Jaylen has made a huge jump as a player, himself. Clearly is going to be an all star this year, and probably a lot more over the years.

But the next, and most important step to his game is elevating guys around him, and becoming a real positive impact player. I’ve learned not to doubt him, but it’s a necessary step if he is going to be the player this franchise needs him to be.

Even though he continues to check off more boxes with each and every passing season from where he started with so little expectations as a 3RD PK, it will never be enough for the doubters till he's literally the greatest of all time.

Read on Twitter

Add Giannis to the list of players that Jaylen seems to dislike. He often seems to glare or talk a little trash to Giannis whenever we face the Bucks.

Then again, Jaylen has always had this cocky, brash attitude when playing that only comes out in subtle ways like staredowns, glares, and other small gestures. I like it, it's like saying he's taking **** personally for some reason lol

yikes. People DO realize Jaylen and Jerami Grant have almost identical numbers right? lol. Jaylen. isn't even having the best season on his own team let alone guys like Giannis, Sabonis, KD, Beal, Curry, Lillard, and Bam to name just a few. Magic's tweets are hilarious.

Magic isn't known for his great takes. He's the BostonCouchGM of Twitter.

People sleeping on Chris Boucher, but they'll learn.

Jaylen's numbers are a bit better than Jayson's.
Jaylen's played a few more games than Jayson.
When they're on the court together Jayson gets more defensive attention.
Jayson's still the better defender of the two, and numbers aren't doing much measurement of that for either of them.

It's close, but for once I agree with you; Jayson is having a somewhat better season than Jaylen.

If you think Jerami Grant is having a bad season, you might know less than than basketball than we all thought. The guy is one of the most hot NBA topics going around.

I THINK he’s getting at the opposite. That Grant is having an equally great start as Jaylen, and Magic having Jaylen 5th in the mvp race is kind of silly, with so many other guys also having great seasons so far.

I'm pretty sure he was going for shock factor in choosing a player on the worst team. He could have easily chosen someone like McCollum or Lavine, but those aren't troll picks as their teams aren't in the gutter rn.

I don't think Jaylen is a real MVP candidate, but Magic isn't totally off as Jaylen does fit some loose criteria (one of the players on a top record team) to annoit an MVP.
