Poor late game executions to put this game away by the Nuggets. Murray struggling to get clean looks with better perimeter defenders guarding him this series unlike last series

KL has 13pts, I could swear I was told superstars don't have bad games. He also has a bad +/-. Clippers are currently losing. He's in his Prime and seen it all, while Tatum (Star) and JB (just outside of all Star) are only 22 and 23, still bambinos! Like I said, even true superstars don't always perform to their standards! I don't want to hear about what KL had done these playoffs before tonight, I like him and want his success if knocking out Lakers, that's not the point, this is just to point out that even the best can look average or worse! KL is about as good as it gets in the league and even he is human!

Fire Doc Rivers while you're at it. He clearly didn't prepare his players tonight.

Also, Grant Williams is nothing like PJ haha. Grant might not have a nasty bone in his body.

Could it be the Celtics are too "nice" and lack that nastiness that wins championships?

Bucks keep missing wide open shots. It's unreal.

Happy to see Giannis leaving it out all on the floor. Could've packed it in and said, "**** it, I'm chilling back on the sandy beaches at home." Need help from his teammates if they want to extend this.

Good player, but he doesnt have that alpha in him.

he's definitely an alpha and the best player in the NBA. 30-15-6 with DPOY defense is Wilt type numbers. It's poor roster construction given his current inability to shoot. If he was surrounded by 3 and Ds he could win multiple championships without improving as a shooter. As it stands, if he wants to win in MIL, they need a new G.M. or he needs to really make shooting FTs his number one task this offseason. Unfortunately there really won't be an offseason. But going forward, if he can just work at FTs that'll fix a lot of his problems and should eventually bleed into better 3pt shooting.

I partially agree here. Really the issue is Bledsoe IMO. If they had in his place a PG capable of getting his own shot when the play broke down, someone who could beat his man 1 on 1 in the halfcourt, that might be the missing piece but they don't. Bledsoe kinda sucks. Decent defender but mediocre offensively.

Yeha, picking Bledsoe over Brogdon was the fatal mistake.

And just as I was praising Giannis, he stepped on Iggy with his injured right ankle. It's over?

Something tells me Boston would have an easier time against the Heat than they are having against the Raps.

Injuries dictating who will win the title just sucks. Depth and having a stable system becoming even more important these days? Get two top talents and have about 6-7 good players that fit the system around those two.

Like if Paul George falls, Clippers could still compete. Not the same for Lakers if AD gets sidelined.

O lord, Drew Bledsoe airballing 3s from the key at the edge of the line. Committing to this guy will be the one to ruin their organization when it all goes down

Bam would cause problems inside for the Celtics bigs due to his agility and strength but they would have no one to possibly guard Tatum, Brown, or Kemba besides Butler in their starting lineup. Dragic, Hero, and Robinson and nun are all terrible defensively. Smart too would look better offensively. Iggy is washed and you can’t have him being an offensive blackhole Playing significant matchup minutes with guys sagging off him. Robinson is a great shooter but he can’t create for himself or put the ball on the floor. He is a spot up guy only. Hero too green. Bucks have zero perimeter athletic threats. Bledsoe not being able to create or shoot from the perimeter is killing them. You can’t have that guy being your primary point guard, heck even a hack like Peverly can shoot a bit from 3

The only reason I'm hesitant to say that Giannis won't play another minute for the bucks is because the relative short offseason.

But bucks really have to see the writing on the wall here.

Duncan Robinson, a NE kid.

Sad that we can never get these kind of talents out of nowhere, Heat and the Raptors to a great job at finding talent.

Bucks hanging on for deer life without Giannis.

I think they'll be thrilled with a package of Brown, Romeo, Grant, 4 FRPs for Giannis.

Return to Boston Celtics
