There was no clarity on that given.

I’m not saying you’re wrong but I doubt Jaylen would be cool just waiting like that but these negotiations are beyond weird at this point

Also it’s definitely seeing if Dame expands his list if true

Curious too about Dame expanding his list, and it will give Cronin the leverage that David Griffin says he needs to land a real haul.

I doubt he will though, Dame seems like a loser who wants to win while having zero pressure. Aka Miami

No one in Miami really cares much about the heat but it’s hard to compete with the weather and no state taxes, and very good team

Highly unlikely I agree.

I still got some crazy hope in Tatum's recruiting ability. He made a surprise appearance in Dame's live IG weeks ago and sort of made a joke of how Dame didn't want to come to Boston. Using a little humor while showing Dame you want him here is a smooth move. Tatum no amateur in this recruiting game.

Hmmmm. Is Brad really just waiting for Dame to have a change of heart?

Let Jaylen walk in 2024 offseason. Get a $40 mil. TPE for him when he goes to Charlotte Hornets. Trade Al + Rob + Brogdon for Luka. Trade for 2 roleplayers making MLE. Wala, suddenly we have a better team than paying Jaylen Brown.
Luka
White
Tatum
Traded for PF
Porzingis
----------
Trade for lead guard
MLE wing

First it was will get this done in Vegas, now it’s when he comes back on vacation. There has to be something delaying this behind the scenes.

Anyone still reading this forum at this point in the offseason is too dumb to ever stop reading it.

We're all here forever.

Speculate all you want. I don't know. But "if true" it sounds more like Stevens is holding out and Not Brown.

I'm sure the capologists here could chime in on this, but does signing Brown to this extension hurt our ability to make moves? If not, then sounds like JB would be the eventual trade piece if there is a "major market evelopment." Otherwise, this thing should be done I would think.

Hopefully the “major market development” if true is that Stevens is making progress on a Brogdon trade

Guessing JB wants to give the Players Association his full undivided attention and contract negotiations would really muck things up.

On the other hand that could indicate that contract negotiations have been a little more tense than the media messaging would have you believe.

Best “market development” would be Portland upping its offer for Jaylen in desperation.. Scoot, Sharpe, Simons, picks..

Second would Embiid asking for a trade.

Can’t think of anything else that would change the equation for Jaylen. Luka and Giannis aren’t asking out. Maybe Towns?

Idk

I think I see that "get me outta here" look on Luka's face quite a bit actually lol.

Major market development could be one of Brad Stevens other trades may be getting close and he needs to focus on that instead of more talks on Brown’s extension.

Hopefully it means Brogdon days of being on the Celtics is getting shorter
