Keep in mind Edwards is only a rook. Think we’re all guilty of expecting too much too soon with these guys.

Indeed. Not saying we should be starting these rookies, but give Edwards the minutes that go to Semi and see what Edwards can do.

These 1-2 minute stints that Brad gives to rookies is infuriating.

Boston will have 2 out of JB, JT, GH and Kemba in games at all times in the playoffs. Smart will get big minutes, Kanter and the 3rd spot probably goes to Grant who is progressing really well. That's your top 8 there..Depending on matchups and some situations you can run Semi, Brad or Rob here and there as a 9 man rotation. We will be ok.

If we ever get healthy, Wanamaker does not even project to be a part of our 8-man playoff rotation.

walker / smart
brown
hayward
tatum / g.williams
theis / kanter

Wanamaker/Semi/etc. will get spot minutes here and there when it's safe and convenient to give guys a breather, but nowhere close to 15-20 minutes.

I understand that, but TT is all about money and loves the clubs... Houston and Clips achieve that and with a more defined role

If Lebron wants him in LA, he'll be in LA.

Hes not turning down being the starting center in Houston and their strip clubs. Only chance it doesnt is if Harden holds grudges about Khloe.

Indeed. Just a couple of seasons ago, Jaylen Brown couldn't tell his right foot from his left. Most players need time to adjust to the league and flourish.

Ultimately Klutch has to agree to a buyout with the Cavs. There is only one player who they will go above and beyond to help. Him getting bought out matters more about the needs of LeBron than TT. Always been like that with Klutch.

We wouldn’t waive guaranteed contracts In 2020-21. Gotta believe we would move Green for Tristan.

Ainge makes no sense. We needed to get older and some shooting.

We really don't though. Getting older sucks. We need more experience two ways to do that and one of them is let these guys play in the post season. Boston's top 7 have plenty of playoff experience. It would be nice to get a veteran who can knock down a shot but I am not panicked about it. The team has won 8 of 10 against 6 playoff opponents.

I'm back to where I was at the beginning of the year - top 7 super solid, we need Romeo & TImelord to become solid or better contributors to truly make any noise. Season up to this point hasn't really delivered that, but Grant has been coming on like gangbusters. Hopefully Romeo starts getting time now over Javonte/Semi. Then we'll see what Robert can do if he gets healthy enough. Semi is tough since he'll help more this year in the playoffs, but I'd rather develop Romeo.

I think Paul will steer him away from those teams because they are direct competition to Lebron. He’s going to Miami

And in this scenario, Wanamaker's only role is more or less to play tough defense and take catch and shoot threes, which he hits at a 46% rate.

I thought we have a chance if the clippers really solidified the center position, but yes TT will be a rocket or a clipper.

I think they'll consolidate picks (as part of a deal for a player) or punt them down the road. I don't think we're going down the same path this summer.

Teams not going to trade future picks for picks in this draft, as bad as it is being reported to be. Unless he is trading 1sts and getting back 2nd's. Remember, you can't put a player chosen with a 1st round pick on a two way contract.

To varying degrees, every single one of Wanamaker / Semi / Edwards / Waters / Green / Poirier / Fall are disposable. If we wind up having to roster three rookies again, unlikely though it is, it's not the end of the franchise. That's the worst possible outcome, and it's not that bad. There are other outcomes too.

MEM pick is rolling over to #1 in 2021. Stats can't convince me otherwise.
