The previous year he said he built the wrong way.
Now he has kemba his panic move hurting.
Hope he doesn't keep reaching for small shoot first pg's with injuries.

I think you're projecting, dude. He looks and sounds tired.

His love for the end of the bench guys is a little concerning. You don’t want to get rid of Green or Edwards, even if a better player might be available? Seriously? It seems like that “chemistry issue” might have factored in during the last deadline. I also understand you want to know what you have in your young players but if you’re planning to compete than Teague as you’re only veteran bench piece seems crazy. Especially with Kemba out, their lineup to start the year.......
Marcus, Teague, Brown, Tatum, Theis
Pritchard, Nesmith, Edwards, Semi, G Williams, R Williams, TT
2 way Taco, Waters
Injured Kemba, Langford

I’m rely surprised they brought Semi back, seems a bit redundant with Williams. Thought they wouldn’t pick up his option and Grant would be seeing around 20 a night but with Stevens you just never know.

What's the Lineup, going into the Regular Season?
Start of Season Lineup:

Reserve: Edwards - Green - Ojeleye
Two-Ways: Waters - Fall
Main Lineup (Regular Season):

Re: Official Celtics 2020-21 Preseason Thread
Am I the only one who thinks Kemba missing a month or so can be a HUGE blessing in disguise??
Forces Boston to play Nesmith and our other rookie PP more. Allows the youngsters to get their feel and confidence up, while allowing Stevens to better analyze their game and development.
Not that I expect Stevens to start Smart - Nesmith - Brown -Tatum (any of the 3 at center)
But that really is Boston's best and most versatile defensive lineup while still maintaining good spacing..

I would bet EVERYTHING I own Stevens will switch starters early and often. I expect Grant Williams to start some games, Teague and/or Nesmith other games etc..
Stevens will say "matchups" and "seeing what works" etc..
I expect at least 5 different starting lineups the 1st month of games..
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

Nope, you're not alone. Sign me up for that lineup.

Theis and TT starting would be such a good rebounding unit. But the spacing might be a challenge.

IDk if Grant Williams is ready to Start. But I definitely see us going with a 2 Bigs Lineup.

I consider myself "old school" in many ways. I still think this way can be successful in today's NBA. But Stevens and most/every NBA team thinks differently.

If G.Williams were more experienced and prove, I would say Start him at the 4. Because he has shown to be a flexible switcher.
