With TT and now Jeff Teague, Ainge just upgraded the bench.

We still need a rim protector, legit big though. TT should definitely start over Theis.

Theis is twice the defender TT is though.

Rim protection is kind of a fools gold stat if it comes at the cost of switches.

Same reason Theis would have started over Turner.

That and Theis is really **** good.

There is an argument for verticality on offense with Smart starting though (if he is) to play TT and sacrifice the defense and hope Smart makes up for the defensive sacrifice there to make it worth it to start TT over Theis.

Why do we have Smart starting when we are getting AD in the TPE?

there's not a single credible report that says we're even discussing taking a TPE that we don't yet have & turning it into Bogdan. This is insanity. This was literally made up by a beat writer who was just spitballing an idea.

yeah, but everyone was so pissed we lost out on the salary more than the player (although we can't have more than 21m and missing the tax at this time), there is a credible source saying we are working on sign and trade to them. That get's us that salary slot back everyone is crying about. And no, Bogy is just spitballing. We don't know if he wants to be here, if 20m is enough, and if the kings are ok with it. We do know that's around what we have seen him offered and he's still not signed.

And again, Turner its in that tpe. (probably not with tt), Aaron Gordon fits in that TPE. Harrison Barnes probably fits.

I think we can all safely say that Theis isn’t a good starter on a contender, after that disaster of a series against the heat. He is a good back up though. I would definitely start Turner and TT over him.
