Nah, you won’t be here when TT averages his usual 10-12/10. You’re a clown.

I certainly hope he averages that. That still doesn't make the offseason any less of a disaster, but nice try.

I'm going to pass the face paint back to you now. Make sure you put on extra eyeliner this time.

Imagine crying over signing a reliable center for the MLE who averages a double double and is an immediate upgrade on the roster.

Weird fight to pick but keep doing you, little guy!

We still need a rim protector, legit big though. TT should definitely start over Theis.

Theis is twice the defender TT is though.

Rim protection is kind of a fools gold stat if it comes at the cost of switches.

Same reason Theis would have started over Turner.

That and Theis is really **** good.

There is an argument for verticality on offense with Smart starting though (if he is) to play TT and sacrifice the defense and hope Smart makes up for the defensive sacrifice there to make it worth it to start TT over Theis.

Why do we have Smart starting when we are getting AD in the TPE?

Surely we should be looking at signing someone like Baynes if we can afford it.

I'm not bipolar but I have straight up brain damage so that has to count for something.

Steven Adams would be a good get for a TPE, if salaries worked

Nice one! It has been very quiet on his end since the trade demand! That would be a steal!

I love the Thompson Teague signings. Well done Danny! Exactly what the team needs. No way he’s done. Let’s see what else he tweaks

Thanks, but what can the Celtics send out?

All we have to do is send them a few 2nd's like we did for them in the Rozier trade.

Thanks again. Unrealistic expectations now rising by the second.

ddb you haven't heard? We are getting a TPE to bring in Luka, AD & Giannis.

We are solid mate.

But in all seriousness a large TPE to potentially use $21mil

Batum would put us over the tax right?

Yeah... why would we want the $27 mil Batum.

I mean we are the one's being bent over, they can always just waive Batum and we get nothing... but idk.

We already committed money to TT and Teague

The TPE is what we want. Idk ewh.

I don't want to have to keep in the luxury tax counter on our team just to have an expiring like Batum on the roster eating up minutes and/or space.

I heard it's actually a fractal TPE that can absorb 30 mil from every team in the league.

meatball sub wrote:there's not a single credible report that says we're even discussing taking a TPE that we don't yet have & turning it into Bogdan. This is insanity. This was literally made up by a beat writer who was just spitballing an idea.

yeah, but everyone was so pissed we lost out on the salary more than the player (although we can't have more than 21m and missing the tax at this time), there is a credible source saying we are working on sign and trade to them. That get's us that salary slot back everyone is crying about. And no, Bogy is just spitballing. We don't know if he wants to be here, if 20m is enough, and if the kings are ok with it. We do know that's around what we have seen him offered and he's still not signed.

And again, Turner its in that tpe. (probably not with tt), Aaron Gordon fits in that TPE. Harrison Barnes probably fits.

and in the offseason.... the list gets a little bigger.

I think we can all safely say that Theis isn’t a good starter on a contender, after that disaster of a series against the heat. He is a good back up though. I would definitely start Turner and TT over him.

Leave poor 'LilTirade92 alone please. He already admitted he makes a living by inspecting Danny Ainge's testicles. Have some compassion.

I forget, can an acquired TPE be combined with another player in an outgoing trade?

Yeah Smitty's off on that one. No chance we take Batum.

Charlotte already screwed us, no reason for us to help them do it even worse.

If they want Gordo, we're not going to save them from stretch-waiving Batum. They can get a 2nd out of it or not, as they like.

Seems to me, we still need another shooter in the rotation. Unless we're really counting on these rookies or Carsen Edwards to be that guy.
