4 team trade idea:

Boston: Dame, Jalen Green

Houston: JB

Blazers: Covington, Marcus Morris, Tari Eason, KPJ, 4 1sts and 2 or 3 2nds

Clippers: Brogdan

Not trying to throw shade but there’s so many board insiders now I can’t keep track. We trading for Dame again?

Second would Embiid asking for a trade.

Can’t think of anything else that would change the equation for Jaylen. Luka and Giannis aren’t asking out. Maybe Towns?

Major market development could be one of Brad Stevens other trades may be getting close and he needs to focus on that instead of more talks on Brown’s extension.

Hopefully it means Brogdon days of being on the Celtics is getting shorter

But is it a "major market development" if it's a trade without Brown, Tatum or Porzingis? It can't be Lillard, they're not going to pay him, the Jays and Porzingis to share one basketball..

Also, perhaps add Grant (who got beat off the dribble by Duncan Robinson, probably the first time ever Robinson beat someone off the dribble in the NBA) not giving full effort to the list..

It might just be what Perk said, about Smart and Mazzulla not seeing eye to eye..

Perk is the worst. I appreciate what he did for the C's, but the only way he survived the ESPN layoffs is that he gets paid the least.

Perk does have some dumb takes sometimes. But this take doesn't seem so crazy. Like I said, Smart made a few comments late in the season/in the playoffs that indicate he did not respect Mazzulla as a coach (if you need me to post them I will but they're easy to find by searching "Marcus Smart Joe Mazzulla" on twitter)

Marcus being traded soon after the season ended also makes me think Perk might have a point here..

I worry that Mazzulla may be in over this head, and that Brad's doubling down on this guy. He's surely a smart guy, but also awfully young to be a head coach.

He's probably better suited coaching a lottery team and not the most talented team in the league.

Ok, other major market development would be if a way for us to get PJ Washington is materializing. No idea how the money would work since he's going to get a big raise.

Has anyone ever done a sign and trade deal with two players from the same team? Like, PJ Washington and Cam Payne to us, Brogdon and Oubre (no poison pill) to Phoenix, Ayton to Charlotte...

Celtics can’t do a sign and trade. If they do they are hard capped at the 1st apron $166 million

Smart was the fall guy for a bum coach who’s way under qualified and in over his head! Listen to Gabe Vincent’s interview today about the Celts. Our team with Ime was a defensive juggernaut. Mazzula screwed up a good thing, never should have been given the HC position. Hope the Zinger trade works out or it’s bye bye Joey !

He led a team that finished 2nd in offense and 2nd in defense, and lost the ECF in 7 despite being the unluckiest team ever in the three point era. I think he's done pretty well.

According to reliable sources, seems like good ol jimmy buckets is too busy with shakira to be recruiting Dame. Now it's JT turn to swoop in and steal Dame away.

Just for fun, I think these numbers work for a 3-team trade with one team sign-and-trading two of its free agents in the same deal. You think Zarren's this creative?

BOS outgoing 26M (Brogdon 22M, Pritchard 4M))
incoming 26M (13M PJ, 6M Payne, 7M Cody Martin)

PHO outgoing 38M (Ayton 32M, Payne 6M)
incoming 38M (Brogdon 22M, Oubre 16M)

CHA outgoing 30M (PJ 6.5M, Oubre 16M, Martin 7M)
incoming 36M (Ayton 32M, Pritchard 4M)

We stay under the second apron with:

White/Payne/Banton
Jaylen/vet min (Diallo?)
Tatum/Martin/Walsh/Hauser
KP/PJ/Brissett
Rob/Al/Luke

You have to stay below the hard cap ($172M?) and not just the second apron because PJ is S&T.

Reload calling the KP thing done a week ahead of time in the most understated manner is one of the most under rated story lines of the board this summer.
