So, I already mentioned I liked Vonleh.

I like Gordon, but I tend to assume that I can draft a player (or at least prospect) of similar caliber in the 10-12 range. So at number 6 he scores neutral.

People who watch Smart like him, and the idea of Tony Allen with a better jump shot and better overall ability really appeals to me. But while I think he is a sure thing talent-wise, I am not sure about him player-wise. Guards who demand an important role but are not solid from a decision-making standpoint are not players you want on your team. His HS rank was consistent with what you typically get from really talented players who fail to live up to there potential due to maturity/IQ/etc, and it sounds like he envisions himself as a ball dominant PG in the NBA. Additionally despite being young he already has advanced strength/physique and I am not sure how much his game improves as a result of further strength/growth. I am neutral here, leaning towards dislike but if DA picked him I would give the benefit of the doubt.

At #6, I am down on Randle as a player but he is also a very safe pick who would have immediate trade value. Again, I am neutral.

I dislike Saric @ 6. I hate to discount an unfamiliar intl prospect who shows such skill at a young age, but I think he is slower and shorter than Kyle Anderson, and his eyes rub me the wrong way.

I dislike McDermott @ #6. Too limited. What he does best at the NBA level is shoot the ball, and that isn't in such short supply.

Others I may consider: Kyle Anderson (neutral and I am concerned with his conditioning as much as his quickness), Gary Harris (lean towards dislike, but OJ Mayo was real hyped & Harris seems to have similar talent and a better head), & ETA I forgot to mention Nurkic

I think we pick Vonleh if we do pick.

I'm liking McDermott more and more, he just seems like a great fit for this team. He's not a potato, graduated college, has experience, an education, and he's not going to get high or go to strip clubs before games. Being a skilled shooter and a scorer is the best thing to put next to rondo, and he's a team player, passes the ball, good teammate, etc..

I think that we will not have the 6th pick. Imho we either trade it in a deal for a star (K.Love) or trade it to move up in a draft.
Imho this team needs mostly SG, SF and a C. Most guys on 6th pick are PF or PG (of course that we should take the best player avaiable but do we need 3rd young prospect at PF????)
Knowing that if we really pick at 6th I will probably try with Aaron Gordon at the SF but that's not the best fit for him...

Yup, in retrospect we proved to have pretty good HIVEMIND here!
