Not huge on Bogut but if it's Zeller, Young and a protected 1st rounder then why not?

Well, sure I guess... if it's just for that pile of junk.

Sadly (because I drool over the thought of him as a Celtic), I have to agree.

Another way to put it: Has a a player that good (already one All-NBA 1st team, 3 All-Star appearances, 2-time blocks leader), that young (23), and signed for that long (4 years at pre-2016 dollars) ever been traded?

Pelies won't trade him unless he comes out and requests a trade, which he won't do

Even if he does that, what leverage does he have to actually make them do it? I'd tell him tough ****.

actually, a lot. If he came out and requested a trade the Pelies would immediately look at the bigger picture and realize that moving him earlier is better in terms of maximizing his value. Knowing that he wouldn't resign, you move him with multiple years left on his deal and bring back quality talent and picks.
In the unlikely event Davis requested a deal, Boston, Philly, Minny would be at the top of the list of teams that could get a deal done.

With Amir playing better as of late, I'm not even sure Bogut would be an upgrade over him. No thanks on a Bogut deal.

He'd be an upgrade over Zeller, though, and sometimes our interior defense is garbage when Olynyk has to play center. If the price is very cheap, I'll definitely do a Zeller poo-poo platter for Bogut.

Yeah sure. I'd do that. Zeller/Mickey/late 2nd for Bogut.

If we get Butler might as well trade for Millsap and go all in.

Not sure if it's legit or not, but I've always said that Jimmy is the missing piece here. You get Jimmy and keep Avery, and then add a legit center... and boom... you can compete with Cleveland

The tricky part here is that Jimmy is turning 28. So you can give up all your assets for him. He's got maybe 4 years left playing at a high level.

Yes indeed...I thought possibly of Melo & Millsap as an outside the box thingy... but Butler and Millsap makes more
sense - as long as Ainge holds on to one of Brown/2017/2018Nets - in case another Star is needed.

I'd get Butler then try and get a rim protector that would push Al to the 4

Brk 17 plus Brown beats all offers imo...but imo Danny would not do it.

Right. I think it would be either or. Not sure if adding a protection to the Nets pick are a game changer for Chicago. I'd assume so.

Too much. I'd consider Brooklyn 18 plus Brown...

Maybe Brooklyn 2017 with AB (with his extension coming up).

Brooklyn '17, Rozier, D. Jackson, one of Yabs/Zizic, LAC pick, future Boston pick and, Zeller for salaries, for Butler.

Amir, Olynyk, Jordan Mickey, Memphis pick, MIN '17 second to Atlanta for Millsap.

Green and Young elsewhere to balance the finances and roster spots.

Boston finishes out with:
IT/Smart ball handlers
Butler/Brown wings
Crowder/Millsap/Jerebko swings
Horford big man

Then sign a bunch of vet guys to fill in from the group of vet FAs out there that Brad has been drooling over.

Lol time to get back to work.

What about Brown+18BRk+Jerebko+Amir+Zeller for Butler+RoLo

IT/Smart
Bradley/Smart
Butler/Crowder
Horford/Crowder/Kelly
Lopez/Kelly/Horford

8 man rotation for playoffs, I think that contends this year.

With it and bradley extension coming in 2018, from our standpoint best offer should be:
- ab
- rozier
- brk 17

Still we could offer max to Griffin in summer.

It/Butler/jae/Griffin/horford
With smart/brown/zizic bench :)
