Tatum just outplayed Lebron in the season's biggest game so far.

If the Cs win this series, Tatum is basically a lock to take over the record, and to do so decidedly younger than the other guys on the list.

That said, Alcindor averaging 35.2 ppg in the postseason as a rookie is mind-boggling.

That game is going to be Brad's favorite of the season. He won game 5 going away and his team played some of the worst offense of the season. That thing was a blooper fest.

Lebron started hamming it up for the cameras when he knew the game was out of hand. Cant wait for Brian Windhorst to talk about how tired Lebron is.

He’s one of the best ever lol and has a case to be the goat. I think he was by far the most ready nba athlete from college from what I’ve read. Just really damn cool if Tatum can pass a legend like that, he just passed magic and a bunch of others tonight.

It's amazing we scored 96, but I think a lot of that was a result of the Cavs' bad offensive plays leading to scores.

we made a couple of nice passes throughout the night (mostly early). I think I heard Brad yell 'CUT!' early in the 2nd half when the offense stalled -- please please please let that be a point of emphasis in film tomorrow. Making cuts and making layups would be SO MUCH better than getting down 20 to 4 again in the Q.

.

But hadn't he just won 3 straight NCAA titles? If they just UCLA into the NBA he probably would have won again and only scored 24ppg

I voted for Baynes but the cigar will and should go to Tatum. Tatum did special things today, made big shots, got to the line, played menacing defense.

Hmmm. So that was the strategy. Lue might be looking for work as an assistant soon

Kareem is in the 2-3 range on my GOAT list, actually, along with Lebron. Michael Jordan is #4.

Hopefully you don't have to ask who I have at #1. :)

the LONG con finally pays off!

(wait, what?)

[edit to add: yeah, Kareem may be a ninny but is seriously underrated in most GOAT discussions]

JT beyond awesome on O AND D. 24-7-4-4-2. Our Baby Truth.

Tito & Cobra mostly good.
JB up & down.
Baynes solid.
Mook some big hoops.
Terry terrible.

Phenomenal D overcame 36% shooting.
Rotating Baynes to cover Terry on LeBron was **** GENIOUS.
Starting Baynes **** up their TT advantage.

Cavs were awful.
LeBron was wasted and played way below his standard.
Otherwise we might have blown a 21 point lead in Q4.

Let’s shock the world & win in 6, goddamit!

Incredible run!
1 game from the Finals!
SamIam 2010: Truth's ability to play so incredibly efficiently is so UNDERAPPRECIATED. Bballcool 2012: Amazing how great Pierce has been for so long. Continues to defy age! KG 2013: P is original Celtic. Wherever he goes, we go. This is The Truth's house.

Honestly we didn’t play that well especially offensively. We did have those what I like to say clown moments like we basically did most of game 3 and 4 where we play a bit lazy or doing too much. Goes to show you how much better we are than the Cavs because if we blew them out most of the game at home like that? Then they won’t have a chance for a possible game 7. Let’s close this **** out Friday. We are a much better team always have been all season.
