I only saw it live, but weren't the other two guys even with or a step behind Jaylen? If someone's ahead of him I'd expect a pass. Expecting him to shovel it back and not travel and to get a better result doesn't strike me as an obvious outcome.

Yeah you were, I was late with the edit. You also never bought in on Rozier as a real impact player, right on.

Problem with the Celtics in the playoffs to me was they reminded me a lot of the Eagles catching fire with Nick Foles.

And now where are the Eagles and Nick Foles?

I thought Kyrie and Gordon could make us elite this year. And they still can, but this team is wayyyyy too crowded.

Good thing we own half of the 1st round this year.

Not to victory lap, but I think SmartWentCrazy/Cave/Valid/Kyrie for 3 and myself were like five out of the 6 or 7 here who were willing to trade Jaylen for Kawhi without him agreeing to extend. And in most of our cases we were high on Jaylen, but realize you give up a potentially very good player for an elite one any day.

Jaylen has been an absolute disaster this year and is tanking his trade value. I still think he could be a very good player, i just dont think it will be here.

Oh.please. Jaylen.played great basketball after Hayward then Kyrie went down. No one could have predicted this disaster

Based on how we can't stop guards I expect Trae Young to score 130 points next game

Saying he could be a very good player and being willing to trade him for an elite player like Kawhi=predicting this disaster?

Damn the reading comprehension on here is rough at times. There was major questions about Jaylens ceiling due to his lack of basketball iq during the off-season, FYI.

Tatum had an easy hammer dunk if Brown passed it. There were some chasing from the far side but none on Tatums part of the court

Kyrie For Three wrote:Team IMO won't get better until a few guys are cleared out since it is just too damn crowded on this roster. Admit it guys, you can't please them all with minutes and stardom. Many warned us about this and much of the forum ignored this including me a lot.

I was secretly hoping Danny would move a few in the offseason but I think they hoped this would all work out and everyone would click since the only really "new guy" is Gordon.

I said this before: If Hayward took a month off would this team suddenly get better because it would be last years team right? My guess is no. The problem with this team is the guys we saw play well last year not only didn't get better, they got worse.

Tatum worse
Brown worse
Horford worse
Rozier worse
Brown worse
Baynes worse.

IMO that is your problem right these.

You do have a point as Jaylen making a clean pass isn't a gimme there, but it's still the right basketball play.

Lol who was asking these "major questions". Lol give me a break.

No one wanted to give up Jaylen for Kawhi because Kawhi was not committed to staying. Plus the Spurs wanted a proven 20 pts scorer which we didnt have. It was a moot point because we didnt have the assets to pull it off anyways.

Not this bad. I think some regression in his shooting wouldn't have surprised anybody. Terrible so far though. If he starts knocking down some corner 3s, other parts of his game (the parts he is good at anyway) will follow. I don't think you can all of the sudden expect him to have a real feel for the game, but knocking down the catch and shoot, getting some catch and immediate drives (Jae Crowder style), and better defending should be there for him.

And Morris being the same player will help you win some games as well as help the other team win games.

The reality is that we saw Brown Tatum and Rozier play so well that we thought it would continue but it has not. Don't kid yourself if we had last years team, and added Hayward we would be the best team in the east. But we added Hayward to a team where 90% of the rotation regressed.

Pretty much all our rivals who we were talking down on in the offseason are better than us right now. Lakers, Sixers, Raps, hell even the Kings who we were hoping to get a high lottery pick from has a better record right now. The basketball gods are playing a sick joke on us.

Just blow it up. Trade Rozier and Morris to anybody who wants to take them. Start Robert Williams. Everybody's on a bad mindset right now. Gotta shake things up.

Oi vey...at this point you just have to laugh. I guess we’re going to find out what these guys are made of. Do they really want to compete for a championship? At this point you have to say no :nonono:

Gut feeling Ainge has players he want to trade and these players found out about it and they intentionally suck playing so they won't be traded. This means after the trade deadline, we will be fine hahahaha.

That or they want Zion badly.

Can we take the Wizards and our roster and shuffle it like a deck of cards and see who we get? I have faith that Brad can get whatever hand we are left with to the Finals.

Nader > Rozier this season

Return to Boston Celtics
