Also, told ya’ll for a while that the plane ride where Ainge and Kyrie had a heart to heart was when kyrie admitted he was out. Happened in early March.

Pretty clear, if you pay attention to context, Ainge said he figured Kyrie was not going to re-sign in March or April. So, Danny's plan A was based on the situation moving off that notion. Not hard to believe.
