Maybe for you it is.
It’s a bad loss.
It’s game 1.
We’ll win game 2

I thought from around the first timeout of the match until the last of the first half we played decent defense and they were just hot. During that period we were around plus 17. Outside of that period it was not good enough.
Our execution down the stretch was once again bad and Joe is showing his experience.
White and Rob needs to lift for the remainder of the series.

Brogdon had 1 turnover the entire game. Marcus had 6 including the most critical one at the end when we HAD to score. White and Brogdon need to finish games on the offensive end. Sub one of them for Smart on the other side.

Going 6 with a mediocre Hawks team, including blowing a game at home without their second best player. Playing a team literally missing the MVP of the league, and losing at home in embarrassing fashion. There is no Playoff "switch". This is who these guys are.

16 Celtic TO's Against 6 Phili TO's. But 9 Celtic Fouls Against 20 Phili Fouls sort of evens out, though the 1rst 4 Fouls of each quarter are non-shooting unless in the act of shooting. Sloppy ball control at the end killed the Celtics. And no one could hit a shot unless they were at the charity stripe.
An alternative perspective:
Pts. + Rebounds + (0.5 x Assists) + Steals + (0.5 x Blocks) - Missed FGs - (0.5 x Missed Free Throws) - Turnovers - (0.5 x Fouls)
+40.5 Jayson Tatum (44 minutes) DON'T ANYONE DARE SAY A NEGATIVE WORD ABOUT TATUM. Jayson Tatum is NOT the Reason THEY LOST.
+25.5 Jaylen Brown (42 minutes) Brown's play was so outstanding his 4 TO's get a pass
+16 Malcolm Brogdan (34 minutes)
+14 Al Horford (30 minutes)
+12.5 Rob Williams III (20 minutes)
+9 Marcus Smart (35 minutes) 6 Turnovers killed the Celtics. Phili as a Team made 6 TOs
+1.5 Derrick White (27 minutes)
0 Grant Williams (4 minutes)
-0.5 Sam Hauser (5 minutes)
Team Total = 118.5
Tatum being invisible and just 1/4 in the 4th definitely contributed to our loss.

I don’t understand why we play drop on Harden all game.
I will never understand Smart switching on that last play. Or force feeding Tatum on our final attempt.
In years past I think I would be more optimistic about them climbing out of a 0-1 hole but this is exactly who this team has been all season.
Just so frustrating. So, so many mistakes from everybody. Also so sick of these guys just not even showing up until they’re pretty much forced to.

Sub one of them for Smart on the other side. White and Brogdon have a much higher success rate at finishing and converting any offensive play over Smart.
