Again I’ve been of the mind to give joe time like we did with ime but why the Celtics chose to remove the interim tag from him just baffles me….we are a team whose success this season would be measured by the playoffs and more specifically a banner. Let him see how he handles the postseason before any long term decisions.

Yes, he lost assistants like hardy which absolutely is a factor but they were never gonna be able to find a real staff in august. He’ll be back but he never should be named long term head coach. I’ve said Celtics in 6- so now I’ll just say

I want to apologize to everyone, I will learn the rules better by the next game for certain. I said what I said because it was literally nothing but Tatum name-calling and IMO going overboard on him. You’re fine lol. I know you want to spread positivity but this was such a pathetic performance at home so it’s hard to even get upset at anyone even if they go overboard a bit in the heat of the moment.

Everyone in here is just frustrated at this point. The 1 title in 36 years is tough. The Celtics have had so many good teams and have gone far into the playoffs multiple times only to come empty handed. The entire fanbase has been waiting for the Celtics to deliver ever since Ainge pulled a heist against the nets and getting #1 picks while being the first seed yet in 2023 the Celtics are underperforming in speculator fashion. Tough times for Celtics fans. For me, one more title, and I would never complain again lol but unfortunately I don’t see a championship team anytime soon.

I remember when teams were petrified coming to the Garden.

Teams these days know if they can hit a few shots early on the road and quieten the crowd they’ll be right in the game because the Celtics will implode.

This dates back to last season in the finals where the Warriors were absolutely putrid outside of Curry offensively and we just gave them games 4 and 6.

It's just an hypothesis, that dioesn't appear to be easily supported by data, but I have never believed that home court advantage means as much in the playoffs than the regular season.

In the regular season, it is tough to maintain energy, intensity and urgency for 82 games on a night in and night out basis; the home crowd provides energy, intensity, and motivation. Come the postseason, urgency tends to exist independent of the home crowd.

I'm pretty sure that data suggests playoff home court advantage is a real thing, but I think there is a correlation vs causation dilemma here, with the higher ranked team having home court advantage, feeling less urgency in games 3-4 after winning the first two at home, and I would surmise that the difference between, say, a 6th seed and 3 seed tends to be larger than their records indicate, b/c what a team does when there is no urgency isn't necessarily indicative of what they can do with a bit of urgency.

A few months ago I mentioned Udoka when we lost game 5 to the Bucks. Dude went to the podium and said ‘it will be a lot sweeter when we win game 6’ ..

We then went to Milwaukee and won game 6.

Joe aint that guy to lead a team in that way. But the guy who scored 40 that night is still here, so is the rest of that core.

These guys have to be better. These have to play the best game of their season Thursday. I think they will. But we will see.

That Bucks team we beat had one dude lol. This Sixers team has multiple guys we can't guard at all. Not to mention last year's team was so much more reliable defensively. I've been saying all year that the Sixers are for real, and all I heard was "we own them" based on **** that happened 3-4 years ago or so (with completely different players and coaching staffs). This series was always going to be a dogfight, and we're looking like some **** poodles right now.

Brad won’t return but people are being ridiculous comparing him and Mazzulla.

Brad was an amazing Xs and Os guy. He also ran some great stuff in clutch situations.

His biggest issue was seemingly dealing with Kyrie and a few other player discontent problems.

Brad never had the keys to prime Tatum and Brown.
