So Brad does have a sense of humor after all. He signed another Jay, but this one's a SL "Scrubb".

If he can average 14 punków & 7 zbiórek in the Summer League, I think he receives a Training Camp Invite.

They had Trevion Williams on the squad last year. That said, love that they are seeking one of these guys to fill out that SL roster the past two years.

Guess the chance to get a Bean for a Boston team was too much to resist.

Can you call a 38th pick a bust? anyways I mean nothing personal but I expect nothing from any second rounder. Especially one that has reduced stats from junior year then went to link to senior high school then again in college. to me I always felt 5 star recruits better there stats not lowered them with better competition. His defense is sound but offense has a long way to go and has gotten worse against better competition. So anything he bring will remove a bust label. I'm rooting for him to be something because the bench need improvement big time

No idea what the bold part is supposed to mean but Walsh's senior year of HS at Link Academy he was the best player and go-to scorer for the 2nd best HS team on the planet. They won 3 straight games at GEICO nationals to advance to the national title game where they fell to perennial powerhouse Montverde Academy, who had a bunch of future NBA players, including Dariq Whitehead and Jalen Hood-Schifino.

And are you really saying that you think a player's stats should get better when going from senior year of HS (where they're playing against all kids who are either same age or younger than them) to freshman year of college (when they're younger - often times 3-5 years younger) than many of the dudes they're playing against? Cause that's a pretty wild take..

I like the pickup. He went undrafted in 2022. But from some of the film I'm seeing, it seems like he's gotten a bit better over the past year.

Here he is going against Real Madrid, the team that won the EuroLeague championship this year. And he's going head to head in a lot of these clips vs Edy Tavares, the best big man in Europe, who won MVP of the EuroLeague final Four.

Kind of reminds me of a cross between Olynyk and Kornet. So no wonder Brad likes him enough to get him on the summer league team.

Seems pretty good on offense, with his passing, good screener and roll man out of PnR. 7'1" with a wide body, but for a dude of that size he can move pretty well with decent athleticism. Can shoot from 3 a little bit, too.

I'll be curious to see how he holds up on D in summer league. But it's a nice flier to take. This guy is 22, turns 23 later this year. Went undrafted, has a few yrs of pro experience, plays for Poland's national team. This is his shot, man. His shot to prove he's an NBA player. Let's see what he can do.

not a hot take just facts. He has attended Faith Family Academy in Dallas, Texas, where he has averaged 18 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, 2.4 steals, and 2.3 blocks. He has later transferred to link which played against better competition teams 15.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 3.1 assists then in college against yep you guessed college players are better than high school most high schoolers don't make it to college so against college player( better competition as discussed) 7.1 ppg 3.9rbg 0apg .5 blocks .28 3% and his foul rate went up junior to senior then college freshman. Facts but as I said I've got to root for him to come around he is only 19 but I don't like trending down stats. Not every 38th pick has to be perfect but you cannot give him a bust title it's the 38th pick

Goin by EuroCup stats, Balceroski seems overall similar to Daniel Theis around the same age, but looks to be a slightly better rebounder, shot blocker, and inside scorer...which makes sense I guess cause he's 7'1. Not bad for a SL invite.

Teams may now carry 21 players into training camp, as opposed to 20 before, and every roster may now have three players on two-way contracts instead of two. That is a win for players trying to break into the league as well as the NBA G League, who could see more talent getting chances at the minor league level.

I like this to be our SL starting lineup:

F: Vincent Valerio-Bodon
F: Justin Champagnie
C: Aleksander Balcerowski
G: JD Davison
G: Jordan Walsh

Bench:
Mychal Mulder
Jay Scrubb
Justin Bean
Kamar Baldwin

No big names, but JD and Champagnie should do well. Interested to see how Walsh, VVB and Balcerowski play.

Man, please don’t do the memory of Trevion Williams like that!

Also: we should all be prepared for Mychal Mulder to be ball dominant. My expectation is that by the end of game 1 people will be ready to punt him to the curb, even if he’s scoring well.
