I really like Stevens, and kind of like Svi better than Sam (just has more facets to his game). I know practically nothing about Brissett. If I had to guess, by the end of the season, Stevens will be in the rotation.

My sole concern at this point is having a reliable third center. That's the only thing Brad needs to address, in my view.

I agree with most of this but I'm not too worried about the 3rd big. Whoever it is, won't even be in the regular rotation. They'll ride the bench most of the time.

You've got 48 minutes at center. KP will play about 31 and Al will play about 28 MPG, so that's 59. So that's about 11 MPG where we go double big, with them both out there. And 0 minutes where a 3rd big is needed.

The 3rd big will just get some minutes here and there during games where Al or KP is out due to rest or injury. Kornet filled that role adequately last season. Gabriel could end up being just as good as Kornet - if not better. And Queta is the darkhorse who could really surprise people - perhaps he dominates g league during the 1st half of the season and then ends up passing both of those other guys later in the season..

But I figure we'll go into the season with these 5 bigs, see how it goes and if another move is needed to add another guy, perhaps we make that move mid-season if need be..
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Yeah, the Cs have until the trade deadline to get a 3rd big.

No need to rush.

Give Gabriel and Queta a chance.

He is right. We were ahead of them before the trades.

We didn't surpass them, ideally we pulled much further ahead

Tatum needs to see more pressure, but the player who needs to suck less and potentially know his role is Brown. He is one of the most amazing finishers in the league, but he sucks so bad as a creator. Hopefully Jrue can help with that

Huge fan of Stevens too, but GM can't play can they?

We need a really wide bodied center to clog the paint,
get those rebounds, and just body up giannis and embiid inside. Drummond or cousins? Cousins has the attitude to punk embiid though. Not sure if he’s healthy enough to play.

Embiid is 0-3 in playoff series vs. Tatum and the Celtics. He has yet to play Giannis and the Bucks in the postseason.

I think the next thing people need to realize or accept is that the Celtics like Luke Kornett a lot more than you do. Right or wrong; they just do. He’s gonna be the primary 3rd center and they’re not gonna sign anyone to play over him I’d bet.

They also believe in Pritchard and he’ll get real runway this season. Hauser; I think front office and fans are are aligned on.

As for the worries about embiid and Giannis; I get it but there’s little point in getting anyone to play those guys for the regular season. It just doesn’t matter enough; in the playoffs our top 6 or 8 is just gonna have to cope. You can chuck Wenyen or Stevens at giannis for 5 minutes if you want; they’re not gonna do any worse in those 5 minutes than anyone we can trade for.

No team is perfect and our weakness will be playoff caliber beef. I’ll take that over playable perimeter defense (bucks) for example.

But most of all; get used to Luke.

And how many players are when playing sporadically or not at all behind 4 at or near All-star level players at the same position. JB, White, Brogdon and Smart.

There are plenty of bench players who can get the job done on offense with bench minutes. Pritchard is not one of them.

Disagreed ... given the opportunity I absolutely have faith he could be.
