I think it makes sense as you would not want a player playing 30mpg suddenly go to 40 mpg in the playoffs.

True.

And it's not like getting KP is like getting a 31-year old KG, KP is only 28 years old.

I think Brad goes out and works some magic at Trade Deadline, but that was the only glaring issue from Opening Night. JB also looked like ass, but I'm not worried about him in the slightest... he's just got to figure out where he fits.

I also think Joe needs to put some trust in the bench and let them play a bit. See what you got.

I think you will see a few more bench players tonight. Will be interesting to see how Joe M. incorporates the other players.

He's 28 but he's been pretty injury prone throughout his career and has always been around 30-32 MPG for pretty much every season in his career, so anything more than 32 MPG or less than 30 MPG would be weird.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Injury prone or not, KP will want to play around 34-35 minutes per game.

It's about what KP wants.

Just like Tatum not wanting to load management.

Fierce1 wrote:KP is like the combination of all the strengths of the Celtic Centers from last season.

He has the height of Kornet, the offensive abilities of Al, and the defensive presence of Rob.

That's KP in a nutshell.

I feel like he's a combo of two pieces that went out. Timelord in some ways as they are both bigs and KP can clearly shot block and Brogdon's ability to shoot outside, also all three of these players have staying healthy concerns.

He's going to be fine. I just hope he can cancel out the noise of not living up to the $300m contract, which is near impossible unless you're a top 5 player in the league.

My main hope for him is that when he's sharing the floor with the majority of the key players that he looks to pass and get open versus trying to run through the trees. There's enough firepower out there and he's a smart enough guy that I hope he realizes that he doesn't have to play basketball given the amount of sheer talent surrounding him.

If there's anything I'm confident of it's that Jaylen has never looked at himself as a finished product and has improved each year. And clearly judging by his body language, the guy gives a crap. He's going to be AOK.
156-1 Celtics are frauds when pressure is put on them. They would have been toast if Luka was not stupid enough to foul himself out. Enjoy this ONE finals win. There will never be another with the Js and the Celtics cant afford stacked team.
Super-nice person and I wish her the very best, but are you really disappointed that she left? She was a clone of Chloë Grace Moretz but with 1% of the talent and an irritating voice. Abby Chin runs circles around her without even trying.

I'm still missing Kristine Leahy :(

We seem to have a defector on our hands you guys. Dude made threads on the GB - one about how the Bucks are awesome and one about how the Celtics suck. Seems like he's trolling (?) but I honestly don't get the joke.

I won't name him by name but a (former?) member of our Celtics family is no longer invited to Thanksgiving lol.

I wanna see more of the bench this game. I think Svi deserves to get a nod ahead of Sam this time. Maybe some Brissett or Stevens too. Please no Kornet.

I kind of called him out on his last thread! Methinks he's going for that reverse psychology stuff - say something negative to try and get people defending it with posive comments.

Anywho, about the game tonight, I hope JB comes to play. If this team is going to win it all, we need all players chugging along at full speed. Hopefully Brown took last game personally, and will make up for it tonight by putting a 30+ burger on the Heat.

I know it's kinda chicken ish for me to whine about it but it's really annoying lol. Dude even went so far as to say he hopes our players get injured so his point will be proved. Like come on man what. If he's trolling it really missed the mark. And since half the GB doesn't actually watch games we now have people thinking the C's suck just because of his stupid threads.

So the "FIRE JOE" will be just 1%.

Well I thought there was a 1% chance Boston loses game 7 to get to the Title rd while at home and having beaten Miami 3 straight times.

Soo..
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

His career minutes per game is 31 in the regular season and 33 in the playoffs. What you’re calling a “full workload” would be above and beyond anything he’s ever done at any point in his career. Last year he played 32.6 minutes which was just shy of his career high of 32.8 set as a 21 year old.

Playing Porzingis 30 minutes isn’t like playing Tatum 30 minutes. For Porzingis, 30 minutes is about his “full workload”.
