I'm just saying. Carlisle isn't some genius coach. The dude lost his job to Jason Kidd.
You're just making my point for me.
Carlisle isn't a genius. But he's better than Joe.
(He's also better than Jason Kidd).
I would take almost anyone over Joe. This is the only bad move that Brad has made as GM. If only Ime wasn't an absolute moron...

- Too many 3rd quarter fades this season.

Disagree on Horford. Horford Played VERY Well.
Brown played like an MVP, except for the end when he wasn't an MVP.
Holiday and Porzingis played like an All-Stars.
Pritchard was EXCELLENT, but didn't get enough minutes (should have had some of White's, especially at the finish. Would have given him the shot over Brown if he was open).
This was a winnable game.

Sorry about repeating many of your POINTS. Really just disagreed on Al.

I had a stupid joke that didn't work about the bolded part. My bad!

It's the thing to watch with all the 'Jaylen is a changed man' stuff. Crank up the pressure on him and see how he fares.
It’s just who Jaylen is.
Even when he scores sometimes he looks sloppy as hell.
He loses dribbles, fumbles the ball etc and gets himself into trouble and still hits tough fadeaway as etc.
With the last shot he did the same thing. Dribbled into trouble and tried to make up for it by hitting a tough shot.
I’m not overly concerned. In the playoffs he’ll be standing off ball ready to hit an open 3, he won’t be the creator in the clutch.
If 40+ on incredible efficiency and drawing fouls to win the game at the line (with competent officiating) is who JB is, we're lucky as **** to have him.

It’s not dopey when that is a foul, they they say it isn’t a foul. The dopey play turned into two free throws for Boston, but refs took it away.

Of course it's dopey. That Jaylen got fouled doesn't negate the fact it was a dumb shot and he stupidly left time on the clock.
It wasn’t a dumb shot. There was, literally no play set up and it was just create something and take a shot. He did that, he got fouled. End of story.
It is not up to Brown to anticipate the refs, blatantly, blowing the call upon replay.

Nah JT definitely does milk the clock all the way even though the possession and shot quality isn’t good so at worst we go to overtime. I mean the whole no timeouts let the players score of a miss or make with the game being tied has not worked in a long ass time. The only one I remember that clearly worked was with Ime in that nets game 1 Tatum game winner. The timeout play that I clearly remember that worked in a tie game was the Tatum game winning 3 against the Sixers. Everything else has been no timeout all isolation plays from the Jays leading to a miss. How about call a timeout and see if something new works??? Is Joe that stubborn I don’t get it. He’s too in the momentum

Is it Jaylen's job to dribble into double or triple coverage and leave time on the clock in a tie game? Because he excelled at that tonight. And neither of those things was the refs fault.
You're smarter than this.

I just felt like there was no reason to not take a timeout. You shot it and it goes in, or you go to OT. Especially after the ball got stuck in the backcourt.
That doesn’t negate, however, the refs. Brown’s shot was way off because he got fouled.

But there are so many incompetent refs in this league. The NBA treats them like it's a career job.
They should fire the bottom 10%, minimum, EVERY SEASON.
There should be a continuous open door for better skilled refs.
It's a sham that the NBA is so far behind the NFL and MLB.
NBA players make it to the league based on merit. There are far too many professions that can’t say the same thing. This is the world people want apparently. Idiocracy.

What are you talking about? He had nowhere to go, dribbled to the corner, and got fouled.
Blame Mazulla for leaving Jaylen out to hang. That’s a coaching. Issue, not a brown one. If Hiekd didn’t foul him he could age. Made the ****. But hield fouled him.

Their team is trash!
It's okay. You can say Joe screwed up. It won't hurt you.
Trash?
Their team this season has been the definition of nuisance.
They might not be a contender but their high octane offence leads to these crazy games and weird results.
They’ve beaten the Bucks four times by playing exactly this way.

It was nowhere near an ideal shot. Go to the rim, crash the boards and shoot with only time left for a tip in. Put pressure on them not to foul. That's what top coaches do with a final tied possession. A contested, deep shot is actually dumb right there.

He could have done a dozen other things besides what he did, no? He had to take a forced shot against double coverage in the corner?

We had a chance to win the game on a final possession, on the road, tied. You don't dribble to a corner there.

Some people aren’t on here but whatever.
He’s never going to turn into this elite playmaking guard, I’ve accepted it by now.
As long as he plays within the offence in the playoffs I’m fine with how he plays/

He was just playing ball trying to create space. He doesn’t have the luxury of knowing how much time is left…the defense was scrambling, there was no organization offensively. He just went 1-3 and tried to find a way to get a shot, which he created and got fouled on.
If ya gonna criticize. Brown, you don’t know ball. Criticize Joe for not calling a timeout and trusting on Jaylen to create.
He is called second row Joe for a reason.
