Brooklyn makes more sense than anything.

Cannot see how Miami has anything to offer that Cleveland would like to get back.

I like Mitchell on Brooklyn, think that makes a nice team depending on the offer.

Yeah could see a three-way deal regardless of Miami, Brooklyn, LAL etc. Cleveland won't want to take a huge step back, wouldn't surprise me if they try to re-route some assets for Brandon Ingram or a similar type of move for a borderline all-star guy and some depth plus draft picks.

Brooklyn does seem like a favorite, though I don't think I love the ceiling for that team lol.

I think Bridges and Mitchell would work quite well together.

If they could keep either DFS or Johnson and then Claxton and that could make for a nice fast paces core.

He’s not going to brooklyn. The guy wants to win, unless he’s teamming up with another star, but getting donovan will even gut that team further.

Missing an Elimination Game???

He's obviously gone from Cleveland, this offseason.
But, Integrity used to mean something. IJS

It's understandable.

The Cavs made their last stand in Cleveland and the Celtics took their land.

It's over.

I mean, I guess there's no sense in the 3 of them getting unnecessarily hurt (Mitchell, Allen & LeVert).
But Wow. This is a NBA Playoff - Elimination Game.

Fans paying big bucks, for a G League Game?

It happens all the time. Giannis was out for the Bucks elimination game in the 1st round. Butler was out for the heat elimination game. JB was out in our elimination game vs the nets in 2021..CP3 was out for the suns elimination game last year. Jamal murray was out for elimination game in 2022..kawhi and PG13 have missed their share of elimination games..

If you can't play, you can't play. Injuries happen..
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

If Knicks, Nuggets, and Celtics all close out in 6, it's a 3-day rest before ECF. Otherwise, it's a 5-day rest.

The trade-off with the 5-day rest is games being every other day for ECF as there will be a 3-day rest between G2 & G3 with 1st scenario.

Yes, but we are playing against depleted teams, Crashing Miami without butler or Cleveland without Allen and Mitchell it's what we where supposed to do.

We are so much talented that we don't have to play defense every game, every quarter, box out, rebound. We can afford to loose a game and it's not a big deal.

The big test will come against the western team. Will they be able to play with intensity all the game?. Joe must have a plan if zinguis gets hurt other than playing hordford 30 plus minutes or kornet at center.

I really think they are hiding a lot of things for the finals.

Today we will finish the Cavs!

Not to celebrate too prematurely but instead of "we beat injured Heat and Cavs teams" I like to look at it as "we broke the Heat (if you listen to the rumors of Butler leaving) and we broke the Cavs (if you listen to the rumors of Mitchell leaving)". Yes, there is more to it than our victories, but I don't care lol. My version gives me more satisfaction.

Injuries are par for the course. If it weren't for injuries, then Celtics would likely be looking for their 20th Title.
Should Teams give up their Titles, because Celtics were Injured? = NO.

That's why it's great that the Celtics have built in quite a bit of redundancy into this Team.
There's 15 players on an NBA Team; and only 5 can be on the Court at once.

Injuries??? = Boo-hoo.

With a win tonight they would become 8-2 in the playoffs.

Never have to accept someone else’s frame, this team already blew up the super team Nets let’s add some more to the mix.

With a win here, Horford and Jaylen Brown will tie the Warriors dudes (Green, Curry, Thompson, KD) for 2nd most conference finals series appearances among active players with 6. Tatum would tie Kawhi, Tristan Thompson, and Marcus Smart w/ 5.

EDIT: Larry Bird appeared in 8 of 9 ECFs from 1980-1988. LOL.

I agree. That redundancy and that talent has allowed them to play smart.

The chance of getting injured is higher if you need to play giving 120% in order to compete. They don't have to, at this point.

Brad has built and incredible roster, and although sometimes it's frustrating to watch (when they are not giving enough and falling short) I buy it.

Bill Russell played 13 seasons and never missed the conference finals.
John Havlicek made a gazillion ECFs with Russell than 5 straight in the mid 70s.
