You are the third or 4th person to join my bandwagon, from years ago, that Kornet has "Bad Hands."

Celts need to be active on the buyout market…. Our bench needs CPR and our Bigs are soft as heck. Add some toughness and protect the rim!

PP was bad tonight, but Cavs were his best series last year because Garland + Mitchell is the smallest backcourt we saw so PP was able to be effective. Against CLE last year Pritchard averaged double figures (11ppg) and had the most productive playoff minutes of his career. Payton I think will be fine against this team if we play them in the playoffs again, he was just bad tonight

Dudes have bad games sometimes.

What a horrible coaching game plan.

Where are fans and this coach going to realize when you try to win a game with Tatum and Brown, it's going to be a fail.

I've said in the past and will say it again, Tatum and Brown led teams are an 8th seed.

The reason we win last year was with the additions and Jrue and KP. Prior to that, we took the next step with the addition on White.
This game, Joe was ok with having a Tatum and Brown show.

I rather both Tatum and Brown say and we played the bench guys the entire game, because the result was going to be the same, an L. At least the bench guys like Drew, Quet abd Craig could have gotten some action.

Tatum and Brown got cocky with the 25-2 led. Both are horrible leaders. They were gesturing to Cavs to get the f out of here. The Cavs punched them in the face, and the soft Celtics went away.

Joe has no clue at times. He plays Peterson like 40 seconds and takes him out. What was the point? Then he bring in Craig and plays hi like 50 seconds and takes him out.

This was one game that I wasn't looking forward to playing. I don't like this team when Jrue and KP sit because we get the 8th seed Tatum and Brown show. That might work against the Hornets or Wizzards, but against the Cavs who are a deeper and better team.

What warranted Hauser to play 38 minutes? What? Play Craig half those meeting and you might win.

This loss keeps the Celtics grounded.
Reminds them a return to the finals will not be easy.

Keeps them grounded? The ass whooping by the Pistons didn't do that? And I don't want to hear that was on a back to back, when KP, Horford and Jrue didn't play the game before.

Walsh might be that guy, if this was 2027. He isn't close to ready. He does nothing well. He defense is his best part of his game and that part of his game is overrated at the NBA level. It's not like we are talking Springer like defense. Walsh needs to get bigger and stronger to compete in the NBA.

JT could have EASILY willed us to this win if we didn't go away from him for the last 5 minutes. Nobody on the Cavs could stop him going to the basket and his playmaking/passing was picking them apart. Joe's dumb **** ass went to JB/White pick and roll for multiple possessions and had JT standing around. This was his best game in a long time and we iced him out when it mattered. Shameful

Yes is that hard to believe? Joe is horrible at adjustments. He is fine when we have all are starters healthy, because that takes away from Joe having to make adjustments. He plays the starters 34 plus minutes and brings in Al and Pritchard. Easy.

Speaking of Pritchard, he needs to go back to playing 10 minutes a game in the playoffs, like play season. Not taking anything away from his great season, but the playoffs is so different.

Hauser has been pretty much terrible this year on D. Last year he was serviceable. He’s regressed big time.

I don't trust Tatum or Brown in the 4th quarters. White and Jrue should be taking as many shots if not make than Tatum and Brown in the 4th quarter of close games. Taum went 7-19 after starting the game 12-18.

Probably so, he’s only 20 and not there physically.
That said, his net rating with JT has been very positive and the length and energy can be disruptive for short stints
The problem is they won’t use him as a back door cutter and general energizer bunny, running around on offense.
Joe is obsessed that to play offense you must toe the 3pt line and let it fly

Oshae Brissett had the 1st or 2nd best net rating last playoffs because he was something different, a player with offensive impact independent of shooting threes, Brissett scored off cuts and movement

And that’s why Brissett isn’t on the team this year
Because Joe just wants all the guys to shoot 3s

And Walsh not ready and Brissett not on the team, there is no athletic wing option on the bench

We are as good as White and Jrue take us. I'm starting to be a little concerned about Jrue. Soon as he is about to turn the corner, he gets some type of injury. No healthy Jrue, no title.

Bad sbowjg by non tstum/brown.

Kornet wasn't good, PP wasn't good, and Hauser played like 35 minutes and took 4 shots and was hinted on d.

Hauser took 8 shots. 2/8. Pritch took 4 but he had more opportunities. He was very hesitant.

You look at the bench and see:

Tillman
Walsh
Davison
Peterson
Watson
Schiemann

Talk about conceding with roster spots but I guess this is the price of having a second apron team. The amount of dead weight on that bench is appalling.

Haven’t been out of the conference finals except 2 times led by the jays! One JB was out of the playoffs and the other was the Kyrie year IIRC! Cap on cap on cap!! They have been there before both Jrue and White. Do they need them too? Of course, but don’t exaggerate. Year nine and eight for the Jays, 8 together, how many times have they been an 8th seed? Once?
