No need to hack-a-Robinson. He will get played off the court by forcing him to switch on to Tatum or Brown. Not really sure what Thibs solution is really at the big position.

I actually learned this from the Knicks board early in the season, but KAT is statistically a good defender when playing the 4, but a much worse defender (like legit terrible) when playing the 5. And it's been like that his whole career, which is probably why Minny was so eager to pair Gobert with him and ended up overpaying for that.

So yeah, KAT will get torched at the 5 and they'll want Robinson in the game alongside him. But Robinson can't play a switching defense and will get torched by our guards and wings. And the more they play double bigs, the less a more talented player is on the floor for them. It's a dilemma for NYK.

We just need to stay healthy and hope West continues to be a blood bath...as much as I like playoffs, I can't wait to face real competition (Cavs, and whoever comes out of the West)..

For those that bet etc OKC are slight favorite to win it all...they base this on what ?

The better question is why wouldn't you have them as even slight favorites to win it all, homerism/bias aside?

EDIT: To me, the only knock on them is they haven't gone deep yet in the postseason. So a bit of inexperience. But they brought in vets like Caruso and I-Hart to counterbalance the youth on their roster. SGA also isn't young anymore and has gone through the playoffs before.

Expect KP to have a great series.

Before the season started, a couple of Knicks fans came here and told us how NY was going to be a problem for the Cs.

I told them NY playing OG or Hart at the PF spot will make NY a small team.

So expect KP to have his way with the smaller NY players.

OKC has beat us badly head to head for a couple of years, and generally was a far better regular season team this year.

Also, 2 of the top 3 teams in the league this season are in the East, while OKC is the only one of the 3 that's in the West.

KAT will have a few nice 1st qtrs or 1st halves but he historically underperforms in the playoffs compared to the other superstars in the current playoffs.

He can’t even crack 20ppg in the playoffs.

He’s just the new shiny thing whose jersey will end up in a NYC thrift shop one day.

Best net rating in NBA history. One of the best defensive ratings in NBA history. One of only 7 teams in NBA history to lose less than 15 games in a 80+ game season. Top 3 offense on top of that defense. Has the likely MVP winner surrounded by more-then-decent depth that fits.

If that team was wearing green uniforms and based in Boston, you'd also expect them to win it all. Their fans should be disappointed if they don't at least make the finals.

On layups and dunks in those games, Towns is allowing 70% shooting -- and opponents are shooting 60% overall on layups and dunks against him, which is the worst mark of any player to contest at least 300 of them.

Oh, it's because the Knicks can't defend the 3 and are historically bad at it.
