The Knicks aren't an average team. Their starting lineup is better than ours right now with Brown and Jrue banged up. .

Even if they are better than this current version of the Celtics, they are still an average team. Even if they somehow magically make it to the finals, they are getting curb stomped by whoever comes out of the West.

I disagree with you. The only team in the west thah could give us issues is Oklahoma City.

It might not be Tatum or Brown, but someone is definitely getting traded on draft night.

I hope so, this team needs new bigs and another active jitter bug break down the defense guard.

Same dude that said Kornet is a better option moving forward than KP. Lol. Kornet is a bench player. 3rd strung center. This is hilarious. KP is dealing with illness. Jeez

I'll post what I want. If you don't like it, ignore it. And Kornet right now is a better option than Porzingis. KP doesn't play in game 1 and 2, we win both. He's the worst guy guy playing on the Celtics right now and made the Celtics a worse team when he's on the floor. You are blind if you can't see that

In these 2 losses, I have yet to get on Tatum. My focus was more on our coach .. Well, I am watching Donovan Mitchell attack, attack, attack. And yet Tatum settles settles and settles... to me tomorrow's game. While tell me a lot about what Tatum is. He needs to be aggressive if he is still not aggressive. Then f*** him and f*** Joe. Sorry but not sorry.

I'm watching Cleveland game and I'm saying the same thing while watching Mitchell. Tatum settles for 3's and fall aways while Mitchell is driving and getting to the line. When I watch other teams play us I always wonder why they have players that seem more aggressive and play with a ton of heart. I believe we were like that with Tatum and Brown when they were trying to prove themselves. We have become soft......and I believe this has come to the 3 point philosophy and our current culture.

3's are great when they fall, but when they don't it doesn't put any pressure on the other team. We need to apply pressure on teams and get more trips to the line which will make those 20 point leads turn into 30 point leads.

I'm not pleased with the current culture. The bring your kid to work day is something that bothers me. Now don't get me wrong....I've met Deuce and I think he's a great kid. The kids are in the locker room before and after the game, on the floor during warmups and even on the bench. I understand what the NBA and the Celtics are trying to promote but along with basketball being a physical skill, it is equally a game of mental concentration and focus. Our locker room and culture have turned into a Chuck E Cheese themed restaurant. There are people that will probably disagree with me but I feel this is why we have a better road record vs. home record. On the road we seem more focused and determined. Hopefully we will see the Celtics get back to business as usual tomorrow.

We are the only winless team in the 2nd round. Let’s hope that will change tomorrow.

Tatum doesn't have the ability to attack inside and Brown doesn't have the skill to do it.

Sure they can do it here and there but you've wasted 10 years of you came out of this thinking they were anything but jump shooters.

Tatum can't change who he is. And Brown is just as likely to give you 10 turnovers inside the paint as he is to score 10 buckets.

KP has been dealing with illness. No person in their right mind would say Kornet is better than KP. That is just plain stupid. 3rd string center vs a legit starter. Say what you want about KP coz he’s been playing bad, but don’t say Kornet is a better option moving forward than KP. Makes you look like nothing but a hater

Dude Mitchell is a dog man. Have you not watched our regular season game against the cavs in witch we lost big leads? We can’t guard Mitchell. I think he strung like 11-15 straight points against us, and we can’t do anything about it. Shooting 3’s and attacking us relentless. While Tatum was being passive and just content on jacking up 3’s. Mitchell is a great offensive player. Its hard to guard him when he gets it going. Tatum has a lot of flaws. He didn’t work on his game all this years. He bulked up, but didn’t work on his post game and mid range. He just contented on taking his 3’s. Plus the mentality is different. Mitchell is a dog, Tatum is a mouse. Shot making ability of donovan is elite. Tatum can’t even do a floater or use the back board. That’s why his shot inside looks ugly. If JT attacked the rim constantly in the 4th, and just stop his urge to jack up all those 3’s, we would have won comfortably last game. He is the supposed leader of the team, and he let his teammates down. Let see what he does next game. He has time to redeem himself.

Yeah he is weak mentally. Not even 1/4 of Kobe’s mamba mentality. Knicks have been baiting him, giving him a little opening from 3, and he’s taking the bait everytime lol.

I don't think Tatum has to redeem himself.

Really disappointed with Tatum in Games 1 and 2.

But maybe JT is just not that hungry anymore.

Will it surprise you guys if Tatum folds and tells himself, "the hell with this, let's go home early".

JT doesn’t want the contact. He avoids them. Just check everytime Jt gets bumped, he loses control of the ball. He can’t finish through contact. All that bulk for nothing. He is a finesse player.

I don't expect him to drive like SGA or Mitchell......I agree that's not his game. Tatum is a mid range scorer......the problem is that mid range scorers aren't glorified in today's game. Kids aren't emulating Kawhi Leonard on the playground.

Absolutely no knock on Brad’s roster building but I feel like yes we need bigs but those type of guards Danny used to try and build around that just got downhill so easily would do wonders for this team over Jaylen.

Tatum is not a mid range scorer. He rarely takes them now. He doesn’t know what to do inside the arc. If he does, he wouldn’t looked lost on that last play.

I said he's a jump shooter which he objectively is. He doesn't have any inside game and we all know it.

I think I'm also gonna miss this game.

Not going out of my way just to watch this game.

Win or lose, the sun will still be there when we wake up.

Return to Boston Celtics
