SGA ended up missing a step back 3 to win the game.

Even the MVP is not perfect.

It’s not a coincidence and they did that to expose gambling in sports. They don’t arrest people without evidence.

Riiight.
Let's see if they can Convict.

An arrest isn't actual Guilt.

This is the same incident Rozier was already investigated for and they didn’t find anything credible, IINM. Now all of a sudden they have credible evidence? My pupils are in the back of my head. I don’t buy it, but I’m not going to discuss why.

You’re doing a good job of being nicer than I would Parl. So I’m going to keep some opinions to myself. I don’t mean to the posters, just about the subject in general. The clown show we have been witnessing!

"They didn't find anything credible?" That was the NBA investigating him. The same ones who swept the Jordan stuff and the ref cheating stuff under the rug.

Steven A. talking out of his butt again too? What a shock. This investigation was in the works for over year, which puts it back to the previous admin.

Oh, and I agree with you the FBI is corrupt as anything, but not with stuff like this.

Idc flinging yourself into people constantly is terrible! Just horrible basketball. He’s a great player, there is no need for that. I thought you couldn’t lean into a player? Guys literally throwing themselves backwards, shai leans forward into them. Yeah looks like Superman in flight.

I just came on here to post my disgust for SGA shooting 26 free throw attempts... With all due respect that is disgusting basketball in my eyes. This is not Shaquille O'neal.. SGA has literally made an art of drawing fouls.. And yes that ability helped get him a championship last year in that very finals against the Pacers. What I do not understand is why the NBA almost in unison constantly rewards him for stuff that really is not a foul.

I'm not a big fan of the gambling industry. When I turn on pre game I want to see film breakdown or player/coach interviews, not people debating the best prop bets.

West will be a massacre this year.... I think OKC, GSW and DEN will be the main teams to watch, but I could see other teams coming up as well.
Imo, DEN will always be dangerous if healthy, I will put them over OKC, if their main guys are healthy
Good assessment:

This is a big scandal, but I still find it fascinating that there are pdfiles being let go, and betting gets you 20 years in jail. That's wild. It's just an observation by the way..

Dallas is intriguing too. Not sure the pieces fit together but if they make a trade to balance their roster they could be dangerous. Same could be said for Houston.

Luka has always been a generational scorer, but with the added boost of the Lakers whistle, he realistically could average 40 this season.

random Boston musing: a year ago today who would have thought that the C's and Bruins would be **** shows, the Red Sox would be plucky and fun, and the Pats would be the area darlings.

Houston and Dallas are also 0-2 to start the season.

Porzingis out again with flu-like symptoms.

Maybe something's really wrong with KP.

Of course there is something wrong. He should not have played last season after he got sick. I wonder what his doctors think. Wish I could be a fly on the wall. Lots of clearance to keep letting him play through things.

I didn’t know he was out sick. Horrible that he may be still dealing with it. I wish him health!!
