Pretty sure Kings are outta money, hopefully they don’t max Looney somehow

I assume they try to keep one of Looney, Bell, Cousins.

I think the can as long as less than 5 or 6 million.

I am totally on board with pouncing on Cousins but seems like somebody will pay more than we can.

The talent is there, but his legs are shot. I think he has both a quad tear that hasnt healed properly and achilles issue.

If he's healthy and willing to take whatever little money we can offer, then it'd be great.

Lol yeah, the best thing for the team would be for Hayward to return to his pre-ankle form.

If that happens, he ain't coming off the bench.

I really like this dude. Still hoping Butler and Kawhi end up as Clippers. Imagine a Beverley-Butler-Kawhi defensive trio harassing wings and guards.

Or else there has to be a trade in the works. Why bother with half measures in signing Kemba if you aren't going to provide him a big to set him screens and make him an effective pick and roll player. Richaun Holmes is a name that still has intrigue for me is he still available?

RW3 & Thies? I guess that’s not as exciting :-?

cavs have tristan thompson. He’s got rebounds and picks coming out the ass. All for the low
cost of the memphis pick

Hah in all seriousness I’d still love TT if we could get fit his salary in. Still a good player but makes way too much. It’d be silly for him to take a buyout at this point in his career, but maybe down the road we’ll have a shot at him.

No wonder JB hated him. JB is an actual brainiac not a tool pretending to be one.

Just read that it was indeed a real thing that KD might come here if our season had gone better and Kyrie stuck around. The Rose rule really, really **** us good and proper. God dammnit.

People would be saying this if we had gotten Kyrie KD AD but didn’t sign a center lol.

I wouldn't. I just want us to choose a clear path.

If you're going after Kemba it means that you decide to compete now. And if that's the case, you gotta make sure you get a decent big. We're quickly running out of options, and if we don't solve that issue we'll be a 5/6/7 seed with no hope of actually competing in the playoffs. If that's the scenario we would've been better off going with just the young guys and keep cap flexibility.

It’d be hella funny to see TT whoop Horford from the other view point lol.

snowman wrote:I think Boston will use whatever exception we get to sign WCS. Sac has rejected his QO before FA started and gone in a different direction. He is an upgrade over timelord (at this time) but both play a similar game. I also see us signing Kaminsky for the vet min as sort of a Brook Lopez lite. I also think we will bring over Poirier. That will give us:

c- WCS, Timelord, Poirier (Tacko as 2-way)
pf- Tatum, Theis, Williams, Kaminsky

not ideal, but is better defensively than Kanter, and much less of a headache than Boogie or Noel. Just my hunch

Boston just seems to prefer bigs that can shoot and pass from the post. Our most popular bigs in the Stevens era were Olynyk and now Horford because they could both shoot and pass. The bigs we have drafted were Yabu who was supposed to be a shooter, Williams who apparently can pass the ball and ofc Olynyk who could do both. Theis could shoot and Baynes could shoot and both still had their ups and downs during their time here. I just can't see an interest or a fit in Brad's system for most of the bigs out there. Cousins seems like the only one that has the skills we want in a big man, though his D is trash. But we hid Isaiah so I'm sure we could hide him also. We can't hide most bigs inability to shoot or pass.
WHAT THEY GON’ SAY NOW? ‎ THANK YOU TRUTH!

I think reload himself floated that out there, so pretty sure it’s true.

I am just going to pretend it’s Couins or Kanter so I stop checking the board every three minutes.

Stevens doesn't want Cousins. We would all take him over Noel playing home games 20 minutes outside of Everett. Would be bad bad news.

Kyrie’s version of this;

I’m a human being. The system is a rhythm and I’m flowing through it because I’m made of water. The self and the plenty is the truth.

Translation;

I wanna play with my buddy close to where I grew up. Who cares about winning when you make as much money as I do.
